A pretty disappointing visit was had here. First the good news. All facilities work well, are well maintained and I have no complaints about the venue itself. It's not in a particularly inspiring location.
Our first impression was jaded when we saw the first of many notices and signs, this one on reception hand written NO SHOP NO GAS. Not at all welcoming. The check in staff were polite and efficient. My main gripe is a lack of willing to be helpful when it came to a request to charge our electric bicycles. We wanted to plug into the power post but they wouldn't let us due to "site rules". Their unwillingness to make an exception came across as very authoritarian. Despite pleas, it was still a no in case the charger "went wrong and took out the whole site". We drive an American RV and there was no facility to empty the black water, which is common in the UK but most sites allow you to lift a manhole cover to empty the vehicle's system into. Not here because they "have no manholes" which was untrue. When pointed out, there was more unwillingness to be helpful and allow this. I guess my issue is partly the rules if they exist, and the unhelpfulness of the staff when presented with an unusual request because of the "rules". This isn't a site for the cool kids so we checked out early and moved to a more fun site with more laid back approach. This was our first experience with the C&MC and I won't be renewing my membership, presumably much to the relief of the club.

Lovely camp site with friendly staff. The shower block is well kept and clean, plenty of hot water. All facilities were excellent. We walked into St David's but there is a small bus running apparently. Great views all round. I did think it a bit pricy considering it was off season and no shop for a few basics though there is a sweet farm shop at the next door site. Quiet and peaceful location.

Nice site, grass pitches only. A bit windy and dog area very small though plenty of walks. A bit windy and exposed but views stunning. Dogs are not allowed on beach between March and October. No shop or gas on site at present

Beautifully-located, friendly site with good pitch sizes (when the front row pitches aren't occupied) and views (if you can make use of them!) and a nice feel.

Would have been a 5 for me were it not for the ridiculously early cleaning times for the shower and toilet block (10am to 12pm) and the lack of benches in the shower cubicles.

We're not all part of the early morning walking brigade - some of us like a chilled morning. We like to wake up around 9/9.30 am on holiday. We like our showers in the morning and we need the loo in the morning.

I doubt none of those three things makes us odd. Yet, here, in contrast to other Club sites, which start their cleaning times later or have two blocks, each with different cleaning times, all thoughts of a cup of tea or breakfast or a leisurely trip to the block, go out the window as you have to rush to the block before cleaning time.

Seems like these cleaning times suit the staff more than the guests. We know the reception is open from 1 to 6pm, but surely 11am to 1pm or 10.30am to 12.30pm or 6 to 8pm would be possible for the cleaning? Other sites manage to clean sufficiently in 1.5 or 1.75 hours.

So many people were using the shower block in the evening, more than at other local sites - no doubt to avoid the pinch points caused by such early cleaning times in the morning.

Also, women (at least) need benches to put their various bits of toiletry kit on. I grew really tired of the balancing act I had to perform here. Even smaller, local sites we stayed at had a stool in the women's shower blocks.

My other criticism is that when we arrived, the pitches had been occupied such that it was not possible to sit out view side. Everyone's cars were facing the view. No idea how this came about - whether the campsite is badly designed or whether guests got it wrong or some other explanation, but this is crazy - a missed opportunity!

My favourite CC site so far. Lovely grass pitches, it feels really remote but with all the top notch facilities you’d expect at a CC site. The views are lovely. No shop nearby though, so stock up en route :)

Medium sized caravan and motorhome site. Fairly open to the elements but this allows good views of the local hills. Great walking straight from the site and only 15 mins to White Sands Bay and beach. Brilliant for surfing.

Nice facilities but a bit larger than we normally like. Well organised though with everything you need on site. About a 40min walk to St. Davids

Such a peaceful site. No noise just bunnies and stunning views! The showers, laundry and facilities are superb. The lady in reception was so helpful. A brilliant base for exploring the area.
