Aberbran Fawr Campsite

I have just returned from a 3-night stay at the campsite. The campsite has pitches for both tents and caravans. One side of the site has electric. I was very impressed by the toilet/shower facilities which were modern in design. They were cleaned daily and were always spotless (apart from the floor which must have been hard to keep clean).
There was a childrens' play ground plus lots of space for the children to run around in/play games etc.
The campsite is alsi dog friendly.
I would fully recommend a family holiday there.

Nearest shop and pub are about 3 miles away and main roads without footpaths so make sure you stock up before arriving.

Lovely campsite. Showers and bathroom looked immaculate. Plus there was a river nearby that looked really pretty in the morning. Only downside was the high price. We only needed a place to put our tent up.

We arrived here last minute in the hope of being able to pitch up and the owner was very friendly and accomodating. We had a shady pitch, great for the dogs! Facilities clean and we had electric hook up. A very pleasant stay!

Absolutely beautiful site with friendly owners. The facilities were spotless. Weather was brilliant. We would definitely be going again

We really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly owner and it was lovely to be so near the river. Great location for the town of Brecon and good walks.

Lovely relaxed campsite. Had a non electric pitch, the field had plenty of space for Ball games as well as a small play ground for children. Good toilet/shower block which was regularly cleaned. Great location next to the river which was good for paddling in.

A lovely, quiet site next to the river. Absolute bliss hearing the river bubble away. A park for the kids to play on and a 'nice' modern shower block. Why a 3 star? The showers.... They were absolutely filthy ~ not just everyday grime... Serious build up of grime. We've never stayed somewhere so dirty before and we camp a lot. Such a shame. A cleaner came everyday, the toilets and sinks were cleaned but the showers were just as dirty each time. On the day we left the entire amenities block was closed for cleaning. I can only imagine it was getting the deep clean it needed. Such a lovely site, sadly let down by cleaning or lack of.
