Liked: Lovely friendly campsite. The facilities were fantastic with great hot showers. Everything was beautifully clean. A real plus was that each pitch has its own large outdoor table with a shelf and a fire pit.

The owners make pizzas to order which was perfect for our first evening meal - it’s pretty much what everyone does and the pizzas were really good, even catering for us as vegans.

Each pitch is flat and big enough to feel private enough. That are scattered around the site effectively on terraced land. Each has a sea view as the site is perched high up overlooking the sea. The sunsets are spectacular.

The nearest beach is within walking distance with a sea water lagoon nearby (The Blue Lagoon) - perfect for swimming in. St David’s is close by and well worth visiting. There are gorgeous coastal walks too.

Disliked: The site was windy. I think it was unusually so when we went but it’s position isn’t especially sheltered; though a windbreak would solve that problem.

Liked: Coastal Stay is a small campsite in a beautiful location about a mile from Abereiddi Bay and the Blue Lagoon. The views over the bay and up the coast are stunning. The owners are super-friendly and helpful. Most of the generously sized tent pitches are based around a small lake which is full of wildlife. All the facilities are spotlessly clean. This was my second stay this year and I can't wait to return.

Disliked: As you'd expect from a rural location in West Wales, mobile phone reception is limited but there is free Wi-Fi on site.

Liked: Lovely small, peaceful site with sea views. Very welcoming owners. Perfect location for good beaches and walks. The facilities were always very clean and well maintained. Wood fired pizzas available on site. Very friendly goats!

Will definitely return for a longer stay.

Disliked: No plugs for phone / torch charging

Very cozy, calm and laid back campsite with excellent facilities and a fantastic view of the sea. There's a quite adventurous footpath leading down to the beach which I can highly recommend. Vegan pizza option was delicious, will definitely visit again.

Lovely little campsite, not too big, with some beautiful pitches and stunning views over the ocean. Friendly owners and pizza cooked on-site some nights of the week. Highly recommended for a stay.

Liked: Really pretty campsite with lovely pitches, some more secluded than others. Plenty of space for kids to play and explore. Quiet in the night and no issue with queuing for toilets/showers. Really liked that each pitch had a fire pit and table to use. It was very windy during our first night but we came prepared with a wind break which helped, to get great sea views you do have to put up with some wind occasionally. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Disliked: Would be nice to have hand towels/hand dryer for by the toilet sinks. Also a food bin for food waste recycling by the washing up area.

Stayed here for two nights paying £48 for two adults in a small campervan. Great little site, facilities were clean and modern. On arrival owner showed us where everything was and guided us to our pitch. Plenty of room on the pitch and a large picnic table and fire pit are provided on each.
We bought a pizza from the on-site takeaway which seemed very popular. Also walked to Porthgain (taking about 25mins) via the road to Llanrhian and then the path past Felindre Cottages & Lodges.
Would 100% come back to the site when we’re next in the area.

Liked: All worked as expected, and decent facilities. Interesting layout, and they've put the effort in to create flat pitches. Really liked having a large table in each pitch

Disliked: They'd stopped doing pizzas as it was out of peak season - it'd have been helpful to know in advance that this was seasonal
