Just got back from a two night stay in a camper van, this site was a fantastic find, toilet and shower block were super clean with plenty of facilities. The local pub was a short walk away, a local taxi even stopped as I was walking to town and gave me a lift as she was going that way, and didn’t want paying!!!! ( I did give her a tenner for just being nice and thoughtful ) Just about to book our next trip here, as the weather was not good, and the planned walks were not possible.

Very lovely location. Well kept and the facilities are inline with the cost. We stayed as a big group in tents and vans and they kindly marked out a spot for us to stay all together. Would stay here due to a local sports activity and would stay again if needed.

The town is a short cycle away and there's plenty of pubs to have a look at.

Fabulous campsite. We stayed off the main site in a side field which felt really secluded and had a lovely view. Toilets and showers were clean. There’s a little cut through in the corner of the main site which leads onto a back road that runs parallel to the A40 and is great for cycling into Abergavenny. We loved Abergavenny and had no idea it was such a foodie capital; a really warm cafe culture. There’s also loads of open green space by the river, where people were swimming. We walked up Sugarloaf mountain which was tough but totally worth it for the views. You can drive to a car park half way up if you don’t fancy walking from the site. The route back took us via Sugarloaf vineyard which is well worth a visit. Lovely campsite, we’ll definitely be back.

Great place to stay. Near to town. Great views, quiet location. (You can hear the drone of the local road but its not overwhelming) Facilities are clean and well looked after. We will definitely visit again.

Nice quiet campsite lovely big field for the dog. Very good facilities. Though our kids are grown up it was lovely watching the children riding their bikes on site. Has a lovely walk along tge River Usk. Did not tackle sugar loaf mountain this time 😆

If you have kids that are small and like to explore then stay well away from this site as booked 3 days and after the first day my son who is 2 was working around the site as kids do and one of the men that got a permanent spot on the site tells me that him and a frends dogs aren't friendly and mite bite my son if he got to close. So i packed up and left as wouldent like to say what would of hapend if it did. Cant see how the owners alway this as its only a mater of time before some kid gets to close and is bitten

Stayed here from Friday to Sunday for the Abergavenny Food Festival.
Bus service just outside the site, friendly owner, well appointed spotless amenities. Also, great spot for visiting surrounding area.
