We had a lovely time at Hillend Camping park. Felt a bit nervous due to the other bad reviews, however we had no experience with rude staff. Everyone was really helpful and lovely, and even recommended where to camp to avoid the wind! The site is seconds away from the beach, and has excellent facilities. It’s not every day you can wake up and have such picturesque views to look at whilst drinking your coffee. Also has a wonderful on-site cafe with great food, and a shop that has everything from groceries to body boards. Would recommend to anyone! Don’t be put off by the bad reviews- just be nice and not too noisy and you’ll have a lovely time.

Great.
Plenty of places to park,
Had a coffee in the cafe with wonderful Views of the sea and Sand dunes.
Little shop on site with overflowing produce (Everything you could need for your stay) £ 5 entry/ parking.
Highly recommended for any local or Visitor.
VERY helpful and friendly staff.
Will definitely be visiting here again!!!

A really well run, tidy, clean campsite. No music rule, which I appreciated. Lovely cafe/bar on site, quite pricey but good. It was quite windy when we were there, but that meant good surfing/body boarding. I would recommend this site for families.

Well maintained camp site, clearly marked pitches. Quiet and relaxed feel. On arrival we were taken to ours & rules explained. All very efficient.
Decent shop, restaurant, showers etc.
Just behind the magnificent Rhossili beach, lovely sunsets.

Hillend is amazing. I've stayed here camping a handful of times over the last ten years or so. Either with family or with friends. It's a little pricier than most campsites but you really get your money's worth. This is definitely a great staycation, camping holiday location. The facilities are great. There are toilets and hot showers, a little shop and a really really nice cafe that serves very good food!

Obviously the biggest feature is the fact it's right next to the beach, just a short walk through the sand dunes to Rhosilli Bay, which is one of the best beaches in Europe.

The campsite is very family friendly which also means there are a lot of rules you have to follow. No music, no campfires, no generally being noisy which is fine but If you plan to have a few drinks in the evening keep that in mind or you'll get told off🤭.

Highly recommended this place there is so much to do and see in the surrounding area and lots of little villages you can visit for food and drink. If you are staying for a longer period of time it's really not that far from Llanelli or Swansea if you need to go to a supermarket or fancy a familiar restaurant for dinner.

Best holiday I've had in years! Got to be one of the best spots you can go to in the UK! Simply Paradise there. Great facilities, nice atmosphere, really well managed place for a quiet break, restaurant on site, shop and every inch has a view of breathtaking rolling dunes, tundra and the pristine and quiet beach and sea. Beach is a 5 minute walk in any direction. Great surf when the timings right, heaven for dogs or anyone who likes the best scenery you can find. Wonderful, friendly and helpful people. Can't wait for my next trip as soon as possible.

Great campsite. Wonderful location behind the sand dunes meters from the beach.
Plenty of showers, kept clean and tidy, and large pitches.
No dogs was amazing, which meant it was quiet and the other campers kept noise to a minimum.
Will definitely be back.
Only negative was onsite restraunt menu was extortionate, so bring your beans and cook yourself, the camp shop was well stocked to help this.

Nice place ruined by some obnoxious staff. Seem to treat it like a little fiefdom with really bad attitude towards guests, giving sarcastic answers and belittling hostile comments. One drives round in a golf buggy at night like some Gestapo guard looking for trouble. Just seem a bit bitter about their little lives. If you don't enjoy it, quit and let enthusiastic types take over.
