The View Camping

Great location for BPW and a quick response from the owner from the offset however there were some issues. Of no fault of the owner, waking up this morning (4th June) to find the toilets covered in sick was not ideal. This consequently resulted in the men using the only ladies toilet of which my other half said had backed up and wouldn’t flush.
We stayed in pod 3 where the door handle was half hanging off and wouldn’t close, gaps in the windows, chewing gum on the wall and overall cleanliness was poor. Unfortunately for the money we paid and our first experience this was a disappointment and we will not be returning which is such a shame.

Great place to stay for our day trip to bike park wales, pods had beds, kettle, a heater and hot plate. Price was very reasonable for 3 people. The site was clean and pleasant with some lovely traditional wagons and had showers and clean loos. There's a bike lockup shed too but we didn't need to use this. Had such a good stay we're going again next month....

Great basic campsite. A few upgrades ongoing but everything is clean. The showers are powerful with large cubicles. Laundry (washer and dryer) £1 coin operated. Wash-up area was clean too. Yes the A470 road is noisy but that’s to be expected and the traffic stops in time for bed. Other campers were very quite in our area (EHU). Easy payment process. Easy to find on Google maps. Great location for BPW 10 min drive. Good secure bike shed and the whole site felt very safe. Your on site manager never seemed to stop working very hard with cleaning, maintenance, greeting and helping other campers; he’s a credit to you. I’ve already recommended this site to friends.

2 stars because check in was easy and it was cheap. The power lines overhead crackle all the time and it is next to a major road that is busy at all times day and night.
The camping spot is small, so you are very close to other campers. Really, people came in at 22:00 and used floodlights to set up immediately beside our tent so we overheard their conversations late at night and early in the morning. Between that it was hardly a peaceful experience.
The site was a little untidy, there was toilet paper lying around the camping paddock for example. There didn't seem to be anywhere specific to clean dishes either. Not all of the bathroom stalls locked and it was hard to get soap to wash hands.

Stayed for 2 nights during a trip to Wales bike park. Perfect little setup up onsite with room for hookups,camping and pods you can stay in. Toilets and showers were more than good enough, Bike shed lock up aswell. Couldn't ask for more.

Wouldn't stay here again as a camper. Facilities are below average compared to other sites and being charged £20 to park your van on a sloping bit of gravel for a night is absurd. Much better alternatives in the area.

Gets a star for proximity to BPW with other groups of riders staying there too.

Excellent campsite and great location for the bike park. Initially put off by the road and the pylon, although we could have researched this before we booked. We were tenting and the field was flat and very suitable to pitch. We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Very friendly staff and all the facilities bikers need for a place to rest and chill. Lovely atmosphere and the pods look brilliant. Showers were brilliant with loads of space. 👍Would book again if they fix the ladies toilet flush 😉
