Absolutely beautiful. Quiet. Peaceful. Its run by an amazing couple, the gentleman is sweet, caring, always available to help and chat. The site is clean and tidy. The showers are unisex, small but capable. It's a very very nice site. And I cannot thank them enough for their help, kindness, and support whilst there.

Liked: We loved the site. It is in a stunning location with views that you can watch for hours. It has toilets, showers and a kitchen area for washing up. The camp fridge was a surprise and blessing during the heatwave and Trevor sells a variety of ice lollies at very reasonable prices!
We took our dog with us and he was spoiled by the site as Trevor has mowed the edges of three empty fields away from the main site and these can be walked in peace and off-lead.
The location sets you at the heart of many places to visit, incredible places to eat and among a community that is friendly and welcoming. We are definitely coming back!! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Outstandingly perfect for a low budget holiday. The owners were welcoming and the facilities were top notch, down to the toilets having toilet roll and hand wash. The shower was so relaxing also. I told the owner I suffered from Lupus and he accommodated my needs by allowing us to use his second field during the day. If you want peace, no hassle camping, come see these guys! Thank you for a wonderful experience x

Liked: Lovely campsite. Fantastic facilities, lovely clean showers and toilets and lovely owner of the campsite. Kids had a great time, plenty of room to play and a huge empty field behind for the dog to have a good walk. First time camping for us in a few years and we all had such a good time, amazing nights star gazing around a fire pit, couldnt have asked for more. A brilliant base for visiting west Wales. Would recommend 🙂

Liked: Travelled to the site alone with my 4 year old daughter and was a bit nervous as it can be scary travelling solo as a woman, but as soon as I arrived at the site I felt so safe. Trevor, the site owner was ever so friendly and was completely understanding of us arriving to check in late, due to traffic. He came round every morning and evening to check in with everyone which I thought was such a lovely personal touch. The facilities were immaculate. Proper flushable toilets and lovely clean showers. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Exactly what we needed :)

Liked: Was so peaceful and the grounds were really good. The shower and toilets were clean and the water pressure was really good. The shower was nice and hot. The little utility room was ideal and full of local information. The owner was so helpful and always around to help or give information of things close by. Would definitely return.

Just come back from a weekend staying at Woodland Rise. 1st time here and will definitely be going back. Small and quiet site, with beautiful views. Fire pits allowed. Toilets/showers clean. Campsite owner very friendly and nothings to much trouble. We stayed on a grass pitch with our caravan, very generous pitches. Highly recommend for getting away from it all.

Liked: I absolutely loved everything about this place, it was our first time in a caravan as usually use a tent. The owner helped and supported us with pitching up the caravan. Such friendly and trustworthy owner. Has time for the people and supports with any worries and problems.
Scenery is amazing of the mountains, the facilities are clean and provides warmth within the shower room with heating and hot water. Fire pits and wood available. Dog walking area is lovely and scenic. Close proximity to variety of beaches within a car. Absolutely amazing holiday for 8 days. Could not complain about the site or owner.
Kitchen area available if required and kept clean and tidy by owner. No rubbish and clean field, up-kept and maintained beautifully.
Children friendly and dog friendly. If your after a holiday where you don’t want to spend a lot of money while away this is the holiday. Kids playing on next field for games and football.
Night sky is beautiful! Not a piece of sky without a star. Wi-Fi is available but I did not require it.
