Site is lovely well set out and maintained meticously, some of the pitches are hit and miss regarding phone signal Internet (even the camc Internet) and Tv no chance unless you connect to the bollards, kids have a great time late evening cycling!!!? 🙄
Two pubs in walking distance freshwater inn very basic in all aspects but clean and dog friendly,,, Jacks pub a bit more up market, food avaibility hit and miss, believe they are struggling to get seasonal staff, but the beer is good and a fair selection
The beach is smallish but really lovely lots of coastal paths around to explore

Overall site is excellent well worth a visit especially away from the school holidays!!!!

Lovely, well kept site only a stone's throw from a beautiful beach. Some of the roads in are very narrow but once you're here it's bliss. Wardens are very friendly and offer a wealth of local information.

Peaceful place to spend a week or just a long weekend. Pembroke and Pembroke Dock are nearby - handy for shopping and groceries.

Welsh Coastal Path just outside the site entrance.

The only thing that needs a little attention is the toilet/shower block. Clean and functional but looks a little tired and could do with a minor refurb.

Perfect location for exploring this area of Pembrokeshire. Minutes from a sandy bay with interesting rocks and cliff walks. Good for sea sports. A nice pub with good food within walking distance albeit a hill to climb! It’s a long narrow site do plots at the rear means a good walk to the road. Great team of wardens-very helpful and friendly. All you need is the sun and you’re set to go!

Two beautiful shower blocks but the main one closes at 10.15am for one and a half hours till 11.45am. The second, smaller facility is then so busy there are queues to use the three men's stalls. Surely a 11am closure would make more sense and give most cleaners one hour to clean for the 1pm arrival time. The floor had been cleaned after 45 minutes but left to dry for another 45 minutes. Haven't you heard of a steam mop that dries in ten minutes? Don't arrive at 12.55, you will be sent away. A sign on the toilet door says "Please ensure these facilities are used in a sanitary manner. If facilities are misused we will have no option but to close them without notice for the safety of others". I have never seen such an unfriendly Caravan and Motorhome Club sign. If you consider parking your van the wrong way around, or not on the parking post, you will, very quickly be told that is not allowed. If you discuss the subject, you are accused of arguing. We were forced to move closer to our neighbour by 1-5m allowing a 8.5m space instead of 10m! The fire rule is 6m! We were told that our grey waste hose should be 25m so facing the van the other way (facing towards the hedge and not way from the hedge was our problem. A 25m hose would take up our entire garage! Expect noise from 11am till 12.30 due to a very noisy ride on grass cutter cutting the grass within an inch of it's life, even if it was cut two days before. The machine makes an excessive noise even if it isn't cutting but just driving around. There is no signal at all. My husband was ill and we had a kayak. A relative phoned reception to see if we were okay but was told "No information can be given out", nor could reception bother to look up our names and pitch so they could relay the message. A very long site so it can be quite a hike to the beach. The Freshwater Pub is a 45 minute hike up a very steep hill so only accessible if you are young. Jacks Bar was closed for Sunday carvery and on Monday's. Only hot lunch is £15 fish and chips. The beach was very pleasant. One bus out per day but you have to catch it just over two hours later to return to camp. The attitude of the staff was generally hostile apart from one pleasant member of staff who was happy to give details of where to go locally. Why are the staff so negative to their guests and why such a condescending note in the men's and ladies toilets. The toilets were clean so is such a note necessary. The site could be wonderful but we felt we were on a concentration camp.

Great location for the beach (6min walk), we were on a very nice grass pitch (125) close to the facilities which were nicely presented and clean. Very friendly welcome, nice cliff top walk to Barafundle Bay, steep in places and about 4mls each way. A walk to the village to get the bus to Tenby means walking up the steep hill off the site but all ok if you are able.

Just spent a week here and found it to be a most enjoyable experience. Check in was very straightforward and made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. Had a choice of serviced pitches so made my choice and simply let the warden know number and got a key for the barrier. I know it was late season but the whole site and facilities were absolutely faultless. Will probably stay here again.

Unsure of the site on first arrival, it seemed to be a little crowded but having been there a few hours totally changed my view. The site was clean and well laid out the serviced pitches were well worth the money.Only a few minutes from a large dog friendly beach.
One or two gripes. Firstly the dog walk area was a little narrow so if you're dog is a little lead reactive there is no where to go that area could do with being made wider. Secondly the toilet block was exceptionally clean and good shower facilities, the only down side there were not enough toilets 3 toilet cubicle per block could be a few more in my opinion.
But the site well worth the money.

Great location next to the sea. Great for people who are fit and well and like walking. Not a good choice for people with any mobility problems or need a wheelchair. Although accessible facilities immaculate.
Absolutely no phone or WiFi access, bring an aerial adapter for your TV. Its located in a ravine.
