We loved our stay camping here. The toilet and shower facilities were adequate, lovely washing up room with phone charging points, kettle, toaster and fridge and freezer which we thought was a great touch.
The owners are lovely people, they're really helpful, great to have a chat to and very hardworking, honest people.
I would highly recommend a stay here, its so tranquil, encapsulated in woodland and really gave us the relaxation factor for our holiday.
We will definitely be back, best wishes until then.

A fantastic site! There are lots of pitches and we were able to pick one on the edge of the trees overlooking two of the fishing ponds. The pitch combined with an open fire definitely made it feel like wild camping - even though there are toilets and showers available. Within 20 mins you have St Davids, beaches, surfing, coasteering, climbing, etc. Owners were very helpful also. Will definitely be returning to this site .

Liked: The campsite was so peaceful and the owner could not have been more helpful when we got there. We needed an extra extension lead for our electric hook up and he was happy to go straight for it and made sure we was all good. 40 minutes from Tenby and 30 from the Pembrokeshire coast line where we decided to go coasteering. The campsite is in the perfect place for a good holiday with plenty see around you. We also enjoyed the fishing lakes and being able to have a proper campfire was definitely a plus! Would definitely come again.

Liked: Beautiful location, very peaceful and great for exploring the area.

Disliked: Toilets and showers need a good clean. There was no electric in the toilet block for the first 2 days nor soap and paper towels. Also, only 2 or 3 toilets had functioning locks. When we arrived there was nobody available to explain where to pitch up although after finding the owners mobile number we were told to pitch anywhere. There where some fantastic grass pitches but the grass/weeds where so tall and thick it was not viable to put a tent on which was a shame. We ended up on a really big pitch which was dirt and slate and far to big for what we actually needed. When other campers arrived they were asking us where to pitch. The owners son came in the evening and said hello and was very pleasant. I would recommend the site but a bit more attention to detail would have us rating 5 out of 5.

Liked: Loved the location and hospitality shown by owner and his, pitch was lovely and big.

Disliked: The toilets were not the best I don’t mind the fact they are gender neutral but they allowed a booking from a large group of men who decided to wash they’re feet in the sinks numerous times per day so even though they were cleaned regular we felt that the large male only booking maybe wasn’t the best idea as they were also driving at speed through the site and had loud music until the early hours of the morning. My 15 year old daughter also felt intimidated by this group and refused to use the toilets alone. Even though the toilet facilities are not the best this will not stop us from returning and we look forward to going here again in the near future.

What a lovely campsite! Beautiful setting with lovely trees surrounding. Every shop you can think of just down the road and within 20 minutes you can be at some lovely beaches! A true gem 💎

Great, quite campsite. The facilities are not like in the hotel (because it's a campsite ;-)) , but adequate and clean. Very friendly owner and relaxed atmosphere at the site.

We are a family of four and two dogs, we have visited Ginger Hill several times over the years and really enjoy the non commercial campsite.

If you like all the entertainment, swimming pool, shops then this is not a site for you.

Some experience of camping is highly recommended for this site.

If you like the hands on camp fires and NO Do’s & Don't then this is a site for you.

As we know the area quite well this is an ideal site to make as a base to explore the Pembrokeshire area.

The toilet and shower facilities had been upgraded and that they are part of the Greener Camping Scheme and wow what an improvement.

Richard has invested a lot of time and effort to bring the facilities up to an excellent standard.

As a family we wish Ginger Hill every success in the future and look forward to visiting again.

Another enjoyable holiday at Ginger Hill 2021

Thank you for an enjoyable holiday.
