Liked: Really enjoyed our first time camping with the kids. A safe space where they enjoyed running along the cut paths amid the long meadow grass. Our stay was in the bell tent which was ideal for our 4 year old twins. We used the fire pit a lot and found the small kitchen it came with very well kitted out. The shower had hot water (free - no £1 machine!). And there’s even a shared fridge and freezer - not seen that before when camping. Very easy to find on sat Nav and we really appreciated the local information on their website - v helpful. The owners were very lovely and friendly and our names were even written on the arrival board which was a nice welcome. It’ll be hard to find anything better! Thanks for having us.

Liked: Great hosts, comfortable in the tent, great outdoor kitchen, we loved the clear care for the environment as everything was set up in a very eco friendly way. Great having a fire in the evening. Fab location, had everything we needed.

Disliked: Would have been good to have a toilet for the bell tent, as although it wasn't far away, in the night it wasn't great to have to go there, especially as it was very cold. Also would be good to have access to electric points for charging phones and then maybe a heater in the tent. We were cold overnight.

Liked: Lovely sized pitches and a very nice layout
Not overcrowded and spacious
Lovely hosts
Very well set up and thought out
Very close to beaches

Disliked: Suggestion would be too have two showers and urinals
Also not much space in the shower if you have little kids that need assistance.
Eco toilets need air fresheners in them or to be emptied daily

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Ffynnonwen. It didnt feel like camping at all. It was more a super canvas hotel that happened to be in a field...
Super facilities, no stone unturned an our hosts had thought of everything. Our first time glamping too. A very safe space for young kids and our bell tent was far away from our neighbours so our two little ones could make lots of noise without being a nuisance. Really helpful website too with lots of useful local information.
Thank you Lindsey and Lloyd, we hope to see you again next year.

Liked: Owner of the camp site was extremely lovely and welcoming, the kitchen at the bell tent was really impressive. Everything we needed was there on site. A bag of wood was provided for free as part of the holiday which again was extremely lovely. Couldn’t fault the start and location, beaches were working a 15/20 minute drive to 4/5 different beaches!

Liked: The eco touches, tranquility of the campsite, each pitch had its own campfire. The wild flowers and little garden paths guiding you around the campsite.

Disliked: Not really a dislike, it wasn’t massively busy during our stay but a full campsite with only one shower would be a bit inconvenient.

Liked: Perfect for small families looking for a quiet getaway and for young children who can safely explore the well designed pathways in a car free environment. If you are looking for a boozy late night party venue then this isn't for you which is why it suited us just perfect. Some really nice lesser known places to discover as well.
I recommend you don't take a trailer because if you need to reverse on the twisty single track B roads you may struggle.
Thank you to the awesome owners for a lovely holiday and for even arranging sunshine for both set up and pack down for our tent! :).

Disliked: Sometimes the shower was cold during busy periods but leave it a few minutes and it works again fine.

Liked: We had a lovely stay here on the beautiful site, it was very spacious and peaceful with good, level pitches. The pitches all had a spot for a bonfire which was nice and the facilities were wonderful. Definitely an experience using the compost toilet but one I'd be happy to repeat as it was kept in such good condition.
