Camped for five days in the last week of the school summer holidays in 2016, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We swam in the small, yet really nice pool, stayed out to see the stars, and walked and cycled for miles. The shower block is a fair distance from the campsite, depending on where you pitch, but it is spacious with good showers. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly return.

We camped for 1 night on the site at half term. It was something like a half a mile walk just to get to the water tap, and even further to get to the toilets. There weren't enough toilets or showers for the campsite. The pool is a lot smaller than the picture. It was expensive for what it was.
The views were good and you could walk into Brecon, the bar looked nice though we didn't go there.

We have stayed at this site for 3 seasons and it was lovely but they are cramming more and more caravans in and not improving the amenities. At our last visit we had to queue to shower and use WC,s and the kids couldn't get near the pool. This will be our last season here, shame it was so nice once.

Decent facilities. Outdoor pool was a plus. Experience ruined by aggressive caravan owners verbally harassing my wife and I for stopping my car for 5 minutes on a public (on the campsite) road outside the toilet block (not blocking the road or obstructing anything!) whilst my 5 year old daughter went to the loo on the way out of the site.

Great campsite and staff where all really happy and helpfull and the toilets and showers are big and clean and there is more than 1 block of them.
We will Deffinetly return there the restaurant does really nice food and drink and with plenty of seats and an amazing view of the mountains in the distance.
I would suggest a torch for the toilet walk at night as around the site there isn't any intrusive lights so it is a bit dark but around the toilet block has lights and all the people around where nice and friendly aswell

It is a beautiful place, really clean campsite, 20 min walk to Brecon town, the food at the Hills was amazing! We had a roast dinner for Easter Sunday and the burgers there are stunning too. The toilets and showers were not far from the campsite at all. We had a bit of trouble with people in the caravan next to us and the owners really helped with everything and we will definitely be going back. It is very much a family oriented place and feels safe for children. If you like to stay up until all hours partying this is not the site for you! It is supposed to be a peaceful place to relax.

Got there person who meet us was very nice gave the wife hairdryer to use!! Nice and clean ok only reason have it 4 star's as when I rang up asking about tent size and pitch was told ok size was no problem (but !!! I have a wood burning stove in the tent was told I could not use it as no open fire's on camp site because of fire regulations)???? So how come people the following day had bqs at their tents and caravans ???🤬😠 It did pee me off as our tent is a glamping tent has the right stove for it so I had to take the smaller tent 😎 but got to say still a great getaway place but I think think it would be busy in the summer

Lovely site with a view of the Brecon hills. Great facilities including a pool, well looked after grounds and a restaurant next to reception.
Owner very helpful, we look forward to spending a holiday when some normality returns.
