Really lovely site. Clean and tidy and great atmosphere. Pitches in the meadow aren't the flattest so some creative pitching to make sure that we didn't end up in the middle of the field in the night. It does need more facilities. There is a shepherd's hut with two toilets and a shower/toilet for two fields, granted one is tourers, but always had to wait for the toilets. The other facilities are further over but need some renovation, clean enough but quite tired. It's a nice enough site but we've definitely stayed at better around the same price. Great location and huge pitches though, with clear skies for star gazing.

Liked: Great campsite with large pitches. We had electric hook up on the bottom field (the meadow) next to the dog walk path. Our closest toilet block was nice and clean, with 2 toilets, one wet room shower and a washing up area. The showers are powerful with temperature control and taps rather than push button which is a huge benefit!
The campsite is also in a great location and easily accessible with no narrow roads.

Disliked: During busy periods you do find yourself queuing for a shower, although there are more showers in the other toilet block, however these aren't as new.

Liked: Pitch was in a lovely spot under trees which helped our van cool down in this heatwave. The pitch was large enough to move the motorhome to the best angle.
The site facilities were clean and the gardens were well taken care of. There were ample bins for rubbish and recycling.

Disliked: There was no shop and the childrens 'space' was an open sided type of barn with some very old pool, table tennis and skittles. Nothing really for kids there. Its more of an old peoples site.

I emailed a polite request for a copy of the site layout after I had paid in full for my pitch, didnt even get a reply.

Bit out of the way for anything inteesting for my family to do.

Liked: Big pitch size. Friendly staff. Great shower and toilet facilities (I counted 2 showers and 4 toilets in the main block, and 1 shower and 2 toilets in the separate block further down the field). Cleaned regularly. Not too busy. Key coded entry to site felt very safe.
Located right outside Caernarfon and a 5 minute drive from morisons where we caught a lovely sunset on the first night

Disliked: Games room was in a barn which surprised us. We expected it to be indoors with charging ports and things. Not so much a downside, more of just a surprise really. Had a ping pong table

Liked: Everything was clean and well looked after, facilities were great, staff were always available. We had to contact them late at night as our air pump broke for our air bed and we felt awful about disturbing them. they let us charge it up with no problem and we’re always kind and approachable.

The grass was cut, pitch size was good and a great location for our holiday.

Liked: Nice quiet park with clean toilet and showers. The best power shower I have ever used in my 25 years of using campsites! Very friendly welcome from the warden. Good location with cycle paths from the site.

Disliked: Most of the pitches were seasonal so I assume limited pitches for tourers. Our pitch was located at the bottom of the park which, whilst close to the toilets, was in a shady location with no views.

Really nice site conveniently situated 15 minutes from Anglesey, Caernarfon and Bangor. Huge pitches and you can have fires (off ground and controlled). Down side was the lack of facilities. We went over the bank holiday weekend when the site was busy and it was sometimes difficult to go to the toilet or have a shower as there just weren't enough.
The prices were a little high. But I expect this in the school holidays. The site would be perfect with more facilities. It's kept very clean and tidy by the wardens.
We all had a fantastic time and we will definitely be booking again.

Liked: The site was beautiful! Extremely Clean and very friendly. Very spacious. We felt like we were there on our own. The pitches are a great size and lots of room to make it your own. The showers were lovely and hot too! We can’t wait to come back next year.

Disliked: If we had to say something we disliked it was that we couldn’t park the car right next to our tent but everything else was perfect!
