Great spot on the Mach Loop. Very friendly campsite owners. Relaxed feel on site. Facilities basic but clean.

Fantastic campsite smack bang in the middle of the Mach Loop. Amazing to see the jets low level flying over head whilst chilling at the tent! Basic amenities but they definitely do the job and the owner is lovely! The most clearest night sky I have ever seen, the milky way was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be coming here at least twice a year!

We camped here during the August Bank Holiday weekend for our hiking getaway. A stunning campsite with great views, within walking distance of Cadair Idris and well-connected roads if you want to get to the coast or town. The person we dealt with from the site is a lovely and helpful person, always at hand to offer advice. Facilities are shared, but well maintained and clean. Highly recommend this if you're camping in Wales.

Relaxed camp site right under the Mach loop. Call ahead, turn up find a spot and the farmer will come find you with a friendly smile and conversation, finding out he runs the camp site ontop 1100 acres of farmland & wildstock!

Park up on the left to be right next to the stream...

You can walk up to cad west/east carpark through the fields in 30 minutes so perfect if you are coming up to plane watch.

Nice and easy to find, facilities are basic, the field is of a reasonable size but has a slight incline so for a good nights sleep you’ll need to search for a flat spot.

You’ll need 20p coins for the shower, 20p gets you 3 mins.

It’s also super close to Cadair Idris, around 20 mins from the start of the trail by foot.

I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. It's perfect for walking to Cadair Idris as its just a matter of yards from the start of the trail. The shower and toilets were cleaned regularly, it wasn't busy, the owner is very friendly and welcoming, stopping for a chat several times. He recommended a few walks in the area and I had a great time. I'll definitely be returning. I don't understand why it was so cheap, he could charge a lot more and I'd still be happy. No complaints whatsoever

Great place to stay for the Mach loop! Sometimes jets wizz over at treetop height! But very quiet otherwise and not so many jets now. Huw the owner/farmer is delightful and very helpful.
