We have just spent 2 days on this lovely cl and found it to be a wonderful spot. Everything as advertised and more. So peaceful, yet close enough to walk/cycle/bus to shops, pubs, supermarkets and chester city. (If your motorhoming without a car) Loved seeing the horses in the fields especially the little foal. Will definitely visit again soon

Good location near the NCR and only 6km from Chester town centre; friendly welcome, uncomplicated check-in and fair, no frills facilities.

Working farm and stables I felt at home as an ex horse owner and rider. Not too far to walk into Chester. Retail park within a mile or so if you have a bike there is a good network of cycle tracks and a nice walk or cycle along the river. Very friendly, helpful owners. We had to nights there as we needed to charge things up and chill as touring Wales. Chester old town is lovely with lots of bars pubs and restaurants and some very nice independent shops.

Great little CL. Just what we like. Hardstanding, electric, tap, recycling, and shared showers. Great cycle routes into Chester & bus stop at the end of the road. Lovely owners who 'just let you get on with it' and have great local knowledge. Surrounded by horses in the livery yard. What's not to love...

What a find! We were struggling to find somewhere to stay so we could visit our elderly mother in the northwest and feel blessed to have stumbled across this peaceful farm run by Rowena and Peter. Friendly, birdful and small with an eye to simplicity. Hot showers, clean facilities.
