We went today and visited a very shiny new shop.everybody were very smiley and happy faced.spoke with a few staff who were most helpful and courteous. The shop is very well laid out on two levels.tents and cycling upstairs gained by a staircase and there is also a very clever lift for elderly or disabled and wheelchair users.the whole shop can be accessed by wheelchair and very well spread out with wide aisles.there is huge amount of car parking and disabled parking outside the front doors.the shop has easy access for wheelchair users and pushchairs and smooth entry from pavement to shop.chesterfield has needed a shop like this for a long time.good levels of lighting and aircon will make for comfortable shopping in the future.

Love these stores. This is a great addition to the stores available recently opened in February 2018. Doggy friendly in store. Staff were really helpful about multiple areas which was impressive with a recently opened store.

Very helpful staff. We needed a camping stove that wasn't gas fuelled for a festival and they gave really good advice. We purchased the Trangia 25-1UlL which was priced at £70 with out the discount card but the shop offers a guaranteed price match if found cheaper in a UK store or online and they instantly reduced it for us to £45 plus still able to use Sons Uni days discount for a further 10℅ so really pleased with purchase .

Staff and always helpful and chatty. Great range of products. Prices are very competitive as long as you have a membership card.

Excellent service. I went for some walking poles and hadn’t got a clue! Dan was so helpful ! Very knowledgable and patient. He was so friendly and advised on correct length too.

After placing an order on the 27th Dec and receiving a despatch confirmation and tracking number it turned out the parcel was never given to the courier.

After 5-6 emails to chase throughout Jan I had no reply and was forced to open a case with PayPal. After no response to the case I managed to speak to Customer Services and on 3 occasions throughout late Jan and Feb was promised refunds.

After chasing again on Feb 6-8th I was told unless I closed the case with PayPal and said there was no issue with the retailer they would not refund the £155.25. After raising with PayPal this is a clear breach of PayPals terms and conditions and they’re now being looked into for this abuse of the Chargeback process.

I can’t recommend using a smaller independent retailer more. Go Outdoors, Millets, Blacks and Ultimate Outdoors are essentially the same company with zero customer service, some clever marketing and no interest in anything other than a quick sale.

All the staff were very helpful and polite especially Daniel Hardy who was exceptional in his customer service.

The staff at the Chesterfield branch are the most knowledgeable in the area. Thank you so much for your assistance and tuition.
