Wye Valley Canoes

Great 3 day expedition on the Wye. Josh and the team were really helpful. The canoes and all the equipment was in good order and the campsites along the route were really good. All in all a great service and great value

Amazing experience on the tranquil Wye River. Popped to the bean cafe in Hay-on-Wye first and bumped into Josh, the owner of Wye Valley canoes. He was so friendly and helpful. Great advice regarding the route. We have a little experience but I would say if you have no experience you will be fine.
Enjoyed bobbing along letting the gentle current do a lot the work.
Already thinking about a longer trip next time....

Started our annual leave yesterday what better way than canoeing the beautiful river wye from glasbury to hay, Joss and the guys at Wye Valley canoes are welcoming and friendly and give great advise and instructions,We were lucky with the great weather and beautiful scenery and wonderful sights of the wild, Otters playing at the rivers edge, I highly recommend the experience a great day out at nature's pace

We’ve been meaning to do this for years! It took about 2 1/2 hours to travel from Glasbury to Hay on wye, good fun, great scenery and even dogs enjoy the ride 😎

Had so much fun yesterday and we took the half day (2.5 hours) trip from glasbury to hay on wye. We were first timers with no experience but we had some excellent instructions before we left and the water wasn’t that high so it was safe and exciting experience. Well worth it. The guys were excellent and accommodated last minute and made everything easy (we used Celtic Canoes which I think has taken over from Wye Valley Canoes)

My boyfriend and I booked the three day canoe trip from glasbury to Hereford and have had an absolutely wonderful time! Booking experience was very easy, Josh responded to emails almost instantly. We decided to go with our phones turned off to be more present in the moment and with the instructions we received on day 1 we never had to use GPS! The river is beautiful, so full of life. We saw kingfishers, gorgeous swans, jumping fish, abundance of trees! There were some lovely places to swim in the river and we were blessed with a great weather! I would definitely recommend this even to beginner canoeists! If you love camping, the water, want to connect with nature , this one's for you! The recommended camping sites on the three day trip are brilliant as well. Special mention for byecross farms!

Really enjoyable afternoon on the River Wye thanks to these guys. We literally called at late morning and were in the boat early afternoon. Very accommodating and well organised.
They provided all necessary equipment and had us on put away after a quick brief and met us at the meeting point at the end.
Tip: at the end... it is definitely the concrete landing after bridge where you need to get to - not the pebble beach in distance lol.
