Auto Power

This is my 2nd time with Auto Power.

A couple of years back they sorted out an issue on my previous car when the CD player stopped working and was incredibly pleased with their service, so I decided to go back to them again this time.

This time with a new car, the factory installed Subwoofer in the boot was just not strong enough to be heard at low levels - Fine when up very loud, but no good at low levels.

I explained my problem to Andy and explained I did not want a great big Sub in the boot taking up space and he knew exactly what I needed, as I also didn't need the sort of sub that vibrates my number plate or my teeth... LOL

Andy recommended an Alpine underseat sub whilst keeping the existing Sub in the boot in play too. He quoted me a price and I regarded it as fair.

We booked to have this new Alpine sub fitted and it's now in.

I've got to say - Just as Andy promised, it does exactly what I need it to do. Even with the gain turned low, what I now get is amazing. Nice base at low levels, and when turned up loud, the combination of the 2? - Incredible.

Was mistakenly given this shop as a pickup point for replacement car keys. I’ve never encountered such rudeness and poor attitude. Asked where I might find a similar shop in the area and was totally fobbed off! The bald guy behind the counter was so rude to me and my sister. Met a friend when exiting the shop and explained our situation, he replied that this shop was well known for being rude to customers and he actually used the word “thieves” eventually found the correct place. The contrast couldn’t be more pleasant. They also confirmed that Auto Power have an extremely poor reputation both in their work and customer service. Avoid this place at all costs. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

My satnav stopped working. I booked it in at midday Saturday. Within in 15 minutes it was working. A simple reboot after he checked the wiring. Thank you Jim.

They sorted out my rear lights on a BMW 4 Series. Polite friendly staff who know exactly what they are doing and talking about. They repaired and replaced parts to my lighting unit at a very reasonable price. Very reliable and professional service would highly recommend 👌

Excellent service. Andy is a very honest, knowledgeable and friendly electrician. He identified the fault in my car very quickly despite being given incorrect summary by second hand dealer garage who could not fix the electrical fault. He identified the fault as faulty switch and even spoke to second hand dealer and explained his findings. The part had to be ordered and needed a second visit for fitting , but he did not even charge for second visit although he could have as he had already spent more than an hour on first visit. I highly recommend Autopower. They are very honest and competent and their prices are very competitive.
