Tayna Batteries

Oops, I’m unfortunately finding myself editing this review and it’s not favourable for Tayna anymore after the delivery and excuses for their inaccurate EBay listing because I didn’t read “the small print” which is costing me £8.00 collection charges, but it’s acceptable for Tayna to make an inaccurate description and look for excuses is it?

PLUS the inconvenience of the bike being off the road an extra four days

Below is before the original feedback. Above is what is edited and is my new experience of Tayna batteries. I will think twice about them from now on

Typically Tayna… just brilliant service and prices. I have used Tayna for years as and when I need a bike battery

Easy to locate battery needed. Easy check out on website. One minor problem arose at my end on courier delivery, Yodel's usual driver was off and the replacement driver couldn't find me so I had to wait an extra day. Luckily I didn't need to use the new battery until the next day. All in all, Tanya Batteries were very quick to dispatch, unfortunately their choice of courier let them down on delivery.

Battery arrived on time. Good! It was the battery i ordered. Good! However one of the terminal covers was missing. I rang Tanya who were most unhelpful. First of all they said they are not always supplied as they are not needed. When i said they are to prevent shorting of the battery when in use. The guy didn't know what I was talking about. When i explained he said anyway they don't fit when you connect the leads.

I GAVE UP.

It's not often a company has better prices and faster service than Amazon, but Tayna achieved this with my new battery. Ordered at 3pm, delivered by 9am the next day with a price that can't be beaten. I won't consider anywhere else if I need another battery.

My car with start and stop so battery is pricey I rang main dealer 🤪 almost did faint so I checked my eBay account where did I get my motorcycle battery from!!! Tanya batteries yep till I checked I didn’t know these guys were doing all sort of batteries same battery I swear and quality and less than half price with 5 year’s warranty.

This is a tricky review. So, to start with, the service I received was superb from Tayna.
My lad has a Chinese 125cc bike and it needed a battery. I used their live chat/WhatsApp service and asked if a particular battery would work, and a guy called Adam was really helpful and said it would be absolutely fine.
It was delivered really quickly and was very well packed.
The problems started when I tried to fit it. Now, let's be fair; the bike isn't listed on their system and is more than a little obscure, plus they must have hundreds of batteries, and you simply can't know all of the potential applications.
As it happens, the terminals on the new battery were the opposite was around to the old one and in the dark, I didn't notice. I blew the main fuse but it was a simple fix.
Then when I turned the battery around it wouldn't fit in the space as the cables and vent pipe were in the way......that last bit I didn't realise until I snapped it off trying to get it to fit.
Anyway, it's in and I have to take most of that on the chin. It was an obscure request and I should have been more on the ball and checked the terminals before I blindly connected it up.
Other that that, the service and price has been excellent.

Always bought from Tayna but never again - Halfords for me...
This is the first time I have had a problem with a battery but warranty & returns process does not work. Battery kept going flat. Customer Service advised of re-charging with another spare good battery, having borrowed and and done this the battery still went flat following a full charge - even when not connected!
I was told to return for test - easier said than done as no couriers will transport car batteries unless you pay for a special service (No help from Tayna with this) Tayna advised that the battery will take a charge so therefore is fine - WHAT A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY - NEVER AGAIN

Unfortunately after years of being a loyal customer and recommending Tayna I have been let down twice this year. Once on the guarantee of a battery and secondly on the cost of a return on a incorrectly sent battery.
Poor customer service on these occasions.
However battery megastore have provided excellent service today and are cheaper.
