Have purchased 3 vehicles from Mac over the last few years and can not be more pleased with the cars and the professional service I have received from Mac ,and his team .
A local company who has the very highest standards.
Customer care is second to none.
I would recommend Autovillage to anyone.

Was looking at this car, got told they would call me before putting deposit. After waiting 3 days with no response I looked on the website to find out it was sold. Very annoyed at the customer service as they didn’t have the courtesy to call to say they had sold it as they knew I was about to buy the car. Not happy at all how I was treated. Will not be looking here again. Wouldn’t recommend.

This must be the worst Subaru dealership in the country.
This is not just and idle gripe! I have been driving Subarus for over 20 years. On the 36,000 mile service of my Forester Autovillage last year this dealership tried to pull the wool over my eyes saying that I would need new front brake discs, According to their measurements there was 15% wear left on them although there was 60% left on the pads. As neither the pads nor the discs had been changed since new it meant that the discs wear quicker than the pads! 10 days after this service the battery failed to start the car. This dealership told me the battery was not covered under the 3 year warranty....WRONG! Subaru UK said that it was. After complaining about this dealerships attitude towards me Subaru UK replaced the battery and the brake discs under warranty. When I had the 48,000 mile service 2 weeks ago (at another Subaru garage) I was informed that Auto village had not put the previous service onto the Subaru computer, therefore leaving a gap in my service document. I twice contacted them asking for this to be put right and they said they would immediately. Last Friday Keith Price Subaru Abergavenny carried out a recall issue on my vehicle. Whilst there I asked the service dept to check the service record on the Subaru computer. The missing service was not there. The service manager gave me a printout as proof. I rang Autovillage and they said they would call me back. After 30 minutes they called me back and said the service was put onto the computer in February 2019. What a TOTAL LIE!!!. I then asked the Keith Price Service manager to look again on the computer and Lo and Behold it had suddenly appeared.
Why do they like they can treat customers in this way. Admit that a mistake was made and move on, DON'T try to make out that the customer was wrong!!
Subaru have a reputation for both good vehicles and exceptional service departments, that's why they have loyal customers. With dealerships such as Autovillage Cheltenham that reputation will soon be frittered away.

My advice is go elsewhere & under NO circumstances purchase an extended used car warranty. I was left with a car off road because of their failure & lack of care to order parts when they told me they had, which compromised the car passing it’s MOT. They had 4 months notice to get the part, didn’t communicate back to me with any updates & I was then told that I would have to source the part myself by Sharon on the service desk who is rude & unhelpful at every given opportunity. Having seen other similar reviews I decided to take this to small claims court not because I expected to be financially compensated (as terms & conditions of the warranty mean you have NO claim against AutoVillage but only against the third party warranty provider who probably have a corporate legal team) but because after what Mr Boyce boasts as over 40 years of working in the motor industry I believe he needed a short, sharp reminder that the ongoing customer service Auto Village currently provides leaves little to be desired. They have gone back on every promise I was made at the time of buying the car. Maybe after all these years he should perhaps be striving for better than 100% review of unhappy customers on trust pilot & being rated no 21 out of 21 car dealerships in Cheltenham. Please do better Mr Boyce.

I have bought several cars from Paul and his team and have always had a really good buying experience. I Love the new car and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I do not recommend autovillage. Worst customer service. They take your money and then don't care. They have kept me hanging for nearly two years on the understanding they would fix my car that they damaged and now tell me they won't be doing anything (it's not that bad!) They don't call you back or answer emails. Not only did I purchase a car but my daughter did too so we won't be bothering with them again. I'm absolutely fuming. Will certainly be telling people to steerer clear of them.

Bought a Kia Sorrento from them a few years ago, which was fine. BUT took it in to have a squeaky wheel fixed recently and have been stsggered by their rudeness and incompetence. They returned the car with a £90 charge for 'diagnostics', which basically told us that the squeaky wheel needing fixing, and said they'd follow up with a quote for the necessary repairs in the next day or so. Six weeks later (with the car off the road on their advice) they still haven't quoted, and have failed to return numerous calls and emails trying to chase this up. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced; if they didn't want to do the work (why wouldn't they?) why not just say so? They charged £90 for nothing, and were simply rude not responding to attempts to make contact. Will never use them again, obviously, and will have no qualms sharing my experience with all and sundry going forward: don't touch them with a bargepole.

Absolutely brilliant whilst arranging the sale of electric moped. But after sales is awfull they only ring back if you haven't paid yet. Once they got your money you become invisible if post purchase customer service is important go elsewhere
