After my last visit I got this survey from Dacia which I'm sharing to help with my feedback improving in the following issues since 2020 January.
So
After asking service on 3rd August to check out some noise from near engine or exhaust on pick up they said service person couldn't find any noise or problem. Then on my request few weeks later on next service they noted the noise and find the issue.
The service desk Person Sean was doing his job professionally.
The customer service manager lady did a great job on calling me and saying sorry but the fact that I had to push my request for another time check it doesn't meet great customer service.......
Further more back in 2021 I requested a check on my car as I noted some knocking noise from bonnet on left side. So I made a voice record and sent it over to a service desk person ( who was another person not Sean )
She said they could hear it from the voice record but no one was able to hear it from service team. In that period of time after I got my car back I was still able to listen to that noise from the bonnet. But they told me they checked everything but nothing was faulty.
So after seeing the 2 cases together I'm concerned if they had enough knowledge in service department that time when they couldn't hear anything similar then the voice record indicated.
So this is the case when one of your customers like your brand your car but the support or knowledge from service is not too promising.
And if above 2 examples were not enough in 2020 January after I got my new car I requested a check as I felt some burning oil smell from exhausting pipes and another one whenever I stopped the engine for parking there was a one time clinking noise also from exhaust....... then from service they said they couldn't find any issue.
And one more for last. I asked your service colleagues probably last year to check out as almost anytime until now when I press brake paddle and releasing it it makes some strange noise.
Can you guess what the service said : everything was working fine.
Now after reading your performance on knowledge level of service and expertise would you give 5 star or happy and satisfied score???? I don't think so.
I like my car I have been using dacia since 2016. I'm not sure what else I should say here.
I do have one big disappointment and that is the lack of functionality of the display unit. My previous Duster Comfort had the Navigation system fitted as standard. This one does not and apparently this cannot be retrofitted.
I cannot see the point of a larger display with such limited functionality.
I was not made aware of this backward step.
Richard Ferris was very friendly and professional. He made us feel at ease and not pushy which I have experienced at other dealerships. He kept me updated with any changes or delays with the vehicle and always answered any questions promptly.
