I have always found J.R.'s to be an amazing company.
I will always use them for my cars. I have been using them since 2008.
I have purchased 2 cars from them and they have both been great cars. They have also done all of my repairs for the 2 cars that I own even though only 1 of them was purchased from them, speedily and at a very reasonable cost.
The mechanics are very knowledgeable and all of the staff are very friendly.

Buying a second hand car can be a daunting time, but I've just bought my third car from J R's and have always found them knowledgable and helpful to deal with. The sales manager Graeme is not a tipical car sales man, he knows his cars, explained the pros and cons of the cars I was interested in and was good to deal with.

Bought a car from here spending nearly £22500 upfront and ended up being handed over faulty car would not recommend these guys to anyone run by a traveller family who don't care sold me a faulty car which nearly cut off my ABS braking system taking these guys to court and suing them for every penny! its been only 4 months and since day one started experiencing issues!! STAY AWAY SCAMMERS

Great service. As a woman walking into a dealership and buying a car can be a daunting experience, but I felt completely at ease with everyone I came into contact with at JR of Ashford. I wasn't rushed into making a decision, all my questions were answered without making me feel stupid. I couldn't be happier with the service or the car! I would definitely recommend to a friend (and have).

Complete waste of time!
I called JR of Ashford before travelling over to view a car they had listed, firstly to check whether it was still available and secondly to see whether they would take my current car as a part-ex. They said yes to both.
On first inspection, the car looked ok - just a few bits and bobs (dvd player etc) not working. Salesman wasn't pushy at all, if anything slightly illusive. He managed to find the key, but advised us that we couldn't take the car for a test drive as they didn't have any trade plates available. At this point he tried to claim that lots of people buy cars without driving them first and that if anything was wrong, they would put it right. We then checked out the paperwork and discovered approx 50,000 miles on the clock were not covered in what was advertised as a 'full service history'. Also, the most recent service was listed at a higher mileage than the clock on the car stated it had done. When we pointed this out to him, he tried to make some excuses, then told me he wouldn't take my car as a part-ex because it was a manual, not an auto. Seems strange that as soon as we started asking questions he started putting up barriers. Also, the car has been listed for over a month, so perhaps we weren't the first people to smell a rat. Take that as you will.

Fantastic Family business, very helpful and gave me the reassurance I needed. As somone who does not know a great deal about cars I felt I was in safe hands. Thank you to all at JR Motors I love my new MINI.

I bought a car from jr of ashford .mr paul were serving me . I went to see from the south ro see the car.i asked about every thing they mention on the phone.was the same as put on autottador.but when i see the paper work was changed..they got some rubish car.coz i m not happy from the i bought from them.i had a pary exchange.on high price.the car i bring home was broken down on the second day.they given me waranty took the car bak.took a week to fix it.there was engine leak i mention them.they ignor it said that it is from the last service.i would no recomend this gaurage to any one.plz do.t wast ur money and time .to buy their wast car.my car they put on the trade on double price without doing any work in it.they just buying and selling car without any 360 degrer inspection.given u three month waranty.which they will fix.just waste of time and money unprofessional gaurage,i request all my friend do.t wast ur money here.thanks i had a very bad experience here.all was based on lying and cheating to make money.

Really not sure what the name of this garage is as it seems to have several names inside and trade under different names, they gave different details when asked. Cars are not what priced as one would normally expect on window of the vehicle. Please make your own mind up accordingly. In fact this was not the name of the garage that we were given on the phone. Details seemed to vary when we arrived. In fact the the facade strangely enough reminded me of an undertaker rather than a car showroom. I would exercise caution these people as you really do not know who you are dealing with. Several different people seem to be dealing with the same sale.

Buyer beware as they say.

Not sure if it's linked but the place next door which is locked up seems to have some damaged and dismantled vehicles so please do your pre check and make sure you're happy with what you're purchasing. Perhaps HPI Check would not go amiss.
