She gave me approximate time windows when it would be ready & how she would be in touch.
Overall, although it was a long wait as I booked in @ 8am & my car was ready at about 5pm, I was very happy with the service provided. They send you a video of the inspection and ask if you want to go ahead & authorise the work they recommend and how much the cost will be. 5* service.
BMW North Oxford is capital F fantastic! always provide an exceptional service which is exemplary — I wish other companies would follow.

Price obviously a lot higher than going private but still very happy, have it for a month and no issues so far. Definitely recommend!
Workshop charges a lot as you'd expect, but there are a good number of loan cars. Twice I've had work not finished properly and car left in a dangerous condition after a service hence low rating.
And when you’re a novice at anything, speaking to those in the know might seem a little daunting. As I found out, there’s no need to feel daunted.
Having found a bike I liked (it’s the BMW R nineT Scrambler), I contacted North Oxford BMW and made the journey up there to have a look. I was helped by Elektra who is a very experienced biker herself and her enthusiasm for motorcycling is evident.
Despite my being inexperienced, Elektra was happy to share her enthusiasm for motorcycling and answer my questions honestly and objectively. The entire process of purchasing a motorcycle was stress-free with no pressure at all. Any questions I had were responded to promptly and, after my initial visit, all the paperwork was processed online.
The motorcycle was delivered by Mike who is also a motorcyclist and clearly very experienced and passionate about riding. He gave me a very comprehensive introduction to the bike, we had a good old chat and he gave me some very useful advice.
A couple of days after taking delivery of the R nineT, I was out for a ride and could feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. At the next stop I checked and it was Elektra with a follow-up telephone call to check how I was getting on with the bike and to see if there was anything else that I needed help with? That was a nice touch, I don’t recall any motor dealer contacting me after a sale to check everything was to my satisfaction?
I have to say, the service that I’ve received from Elektra, and Mike who delivered the bike, has been absolutely first class. What’s made it so good is that they know I’m new to motorcycling and they’ve welcomed me and have been so friendly in helping me with the R nineT. I think Elektra was just as excited as me for “new bike day”!
If I were to provide feedback to their bosses, I’d say look after Elektra and Mike and treat them well as they truly are genuine people who are passionate about motorcycling and that makes them great ambassadors for North Oxford BMW and for looking after your customers.
Though I’m relatively new to motorcycling, I’ve found so many people who are truly friendly and passionate in helping others and Elektra and Mike have been amazing.
