We purchased a van through Evans Halshaw Citroen Hull branch earlier this year, the van was driven to our office in Kent, it later transpired without being taxed we subsequently received a fine notification from DVLA, we forwarded to them to sort out they indicated that they would sort the issue but for two months did not, so we received a court summons, we had to employ a solicitor to sort the issue and have tried to get them to pay the costs, however we have now been advised that the legal department within Pendragon PLC have refused to review the case. We would therefore recommend that you do not purchase a vehicle through any of their companies as customer care is nonexistent.

Super surprised how some businesses operate. Cancelled an appointment 4 hours prior on the day of appointment. Did not even had the courtesy to call just sent an email accross saying they called. The whole day wasted. Terrible experience will not bother again.

Bad experience from start to finish

Purchased a car from Evans Halshaw Bradford which later turned out that it had been involved in a accident repair. The vehicle was then inspected and I was informed that it would be purchased back and this settling the finance.

I have now been left in a worse situation (no car and no deposit now) than previous with no compensation for the inconvenience and stress caused. Communication was confusing and by no means explained clearly.

I would avoid them as they are completely inept at keeping customers happy.

We have now had to involve the financial obunsman, we sent a complaint on the 04/10/19 and still no reply, they made an offer on our vehicle signed the documents and paid the difference, then they called 3 weeks for more money after they had our vechile. Dont exchange car with them, I cant wait until this goes to court, we even had to prove we paid vat on the vechile, they are cowboys and cant wait as got everything in black and white. I bet they call now as reviews are being put up and didn't have to come to this if they called and gave us our 800.00 stay away from Evans halshaw

Worst Recruitment Structure!

Honestly, they are having one of the worst recruiting structure and system. Even after attending a call for 45 min, they don't provide a feedback after sending a rejection email. And this was not the initial round of interviews.
They don't even bother if you send a request email.

Car held in ransom due to Evans Halshaw not paying their bill!

My used car had a fault which was booked to be repaired under the 3-Month Warranty issued by Evans Halshaw. The repair was authorised by them and was completed in 2 days by an external garage. I am still waiting to get my car back as it is being held as a lien until Evans Halshaw decide to pay them. I have been told this could be 30 days! Silly me.. I expected to be receiving my car back after the repair had been complete!

No courtesy car, no expenses reimbursed, no admittance of fault, very little communication throughout.

Very Poor! I will not be doing business with them again, not worth the risk.

Awful company to work for, I got a huge problem of "moving". It ended up badly.I appealed and after a month and a half and chasing it almost every day I still have not had an answer. Stay away.
