100% worth 5 stars! I am very pleased with my new car purchased at Motorplus in Newport. I was dealt with by Mo - who was fantastic - couldn’t fault him :)
Was genuinely friendly, polite and happy to help! He wasn’t pushy, listened to what we wanted!
They valeted the car for me before I drove it away, and it was like brand spanking new inside and is driving beautifully
Thank-you very much!

Fantastic customer service experience from the first phone conversation to the purchase of the vehicle. They held the car for me free of charge after i travelled a long distance to view and after a bad experience with another garage.
Mo was fantastic, the car is great I've had it for just over a year now and i am still extremely pleased.
I have recommended this dealership to other friends and family, and I will definitely be contacting them when it's time to change in the near future.

Had the car less than 6 months and had an issue with it, as I bought extra warranty they recommended a garage to use to get it fixed. Took it to the garage, had work done they claimed on the warranty and the car is still throwing the same fault code. Contacted the guys here a couple of times and they’re absolutely not interested resolving the problem. The car salesman Gary was great, the aftercare not so much.

I don't normally leave reviews but after reading some of the negative reviews I would like to give my experience with motorplus newport over the years I have purchased 4 cars from and my son has just purchased a car I have always dealt with mo and to be honest this is the only dealerships where you can walk around without a salesman breathing down your neck and you are trusted to test drive the vehicle without the salesman sat next to you if I had to make a negative comment it would be the part exchange price which seems to be a on the low side but that's part of the experience

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Purchased a car here in January 2022 and have had nothing but problems ever since. Firstly the heating went after a month while the car was still under warranty, they had the car back for almost 3 weeks and it worked again for around a week so I had to take it to an independent garage costing me £450. Then the engine was overheating constantly so had to get that fixed costing me £700. and the latest saga is the MOT which I recently had done up there where the car failed on emissions according to them so I paid £250 for a service and a new MOT elsewhere where the mechanics in that garage informed me I needed new brake pads all round and the suspension springs had to be replaced as there were dangerously corroded costing me a further £1100. Considering I’ve only done 6000 miles in the car and on the MOT certificate from when I bought it there wasn’t so much as an advisory it’s obvious that this car had major issues when Motorplus sold it to me but they had elected to ignore.

I have on multiple occasions tried to sort the issues with Motorplus, ideally to exchange this vehicle as I’ve lost total confidence in it, but they just appear to try and help you but in reality do absolutely nothing at all. They’ll agree there’s lots of problems etc etc but words are small and actions is what you need to resolve problems and have satisfied customers. My experience with Motorplus has caused me months and months of grief, aggravation and feelings of helplessness on top of the nearly £2000 I’ve spent trying to put things right and there’s still no end in sight to it. I would advise anyone looking for a vehicle too buy from anywhere else but Motorplus.

Avoid. Bought a car here two years ago, nothing but trouble. Engine light on, sensor failure. Said they had replaced battery but never did, handbrake motor failure, clutch failed. Save your money and go to a proper main dealer.

1. The engine light was on from when I bought it.
2. You said you would replace battery, never did (because I ended up replacing it and saw the date on the battery)
3. Stop Start Faulty.
4. Braking System not original
5. Pads needed replacing at its first MOT yet no advisory on the cert from you.

It's been nothing but trouble from Day One, THREE years of throwing good money at it.

Looking at the rest of your reviews it seems a frequent issue with what you sell.

PS: TO ALL BUYERS
If you part exchange and they don't settle finance, report it as stolen. Its your property until its settled.

I visited (Sunday) and looked around with out any hassles and was told to give them a shout when I was ready. The service was polite and friendly without any pressure. I paid my deposit and picked up my car once I paid the balance (Wednesday). Could not fault Mark & Lee and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking about buying a car. No pressure buying there, which is put me off another car sale's place near by. Definitely going to enjoy my New Convertible once it heats up 🤣.
Thanks again guys.
Craig.

Brilliant from start to finish, no problems whatsoever, dealt with Lee who sorted a much better finance rate to the dealer round the corner. Definitely 5 star from me
