J & B Stone Garage Services

Needed some work to my car urgently. J & B Stone could not have been more helpful. I didn't know they existed, even though they are local to me, (googled garages near me). Very happy with the price and the service. I will happily use them again. Thank you J & B. You saved me from hiring a car because my car was not fit to drive. I'm most grateful for your fabulous service.

Fab little garage, phoned in the morning to see if they could squeeze my partners car in and have a look. They did and sorted out a small problem and booked it in for a more convenient time to fix the problem properly. They made ure my car was safe for the next couple of days till I could get in to fix.

Took my car to the garage as it was leaking coolant they said they would have a look at it , knew one of the issues was that i needed a new thermostat as a independent mechanic had had a look at it. I made the decision to take it to J & B Stone as its near to where I live,left it at the garage for 24 hours when i rang to see if it was ready the mechanic said he had not had a chance to look at it yet! then they rang me back half an hour later, to ask me to collect it, when i got to the garage the mechanic winked at me! and told me there was no charge, although I was willing to pay to have the problem fixed and it wasn't, the mechanic said"keep driving it to see if it carried on leaking and then let them know in a few days." A day later the car broke down on a busy road, with two young children in the back had to get it recovered and the RAC man said in no circumstance should you of been driving this car as the head gasket had blown and is likely to have caused more internal damage!

My wife took the car to this garage, for over heating problems after 24 hours at the garage she was told to collect it as he had freed up the thermostat up. When she arrived he said no charge and gave her a cheeky wink!!!. We were willing to pay for the work to be done and it wasn't. This resulted in catastrophic damage to the engine recovery by the RAC with two you children in the car. You dont endanger my family at any cost.

Not good enough Mr Stone.

Used these guys for services and MOTs on both our cars for a couple of years now. Friendly team, fair prices and great service.

All of the staff who work here are excellent 👍, they got my car in near enough on the same day and carried out repairs and an MOT, they kept in touch the whole time and then to top it all off they delivered the car to me at work in Syston. Genuinely couldn’t ask for better service and professionalism.

After speaking to the Guys at J&B I knew it was the right place to take my Girlfriends 20 Year old VW Beetle for some welding work to the drivers side sill.
I have always been a little unsure about the quality of what you get after a car has been "welded up" however I was absolutely amazed by the quality and finish, you can't even tell its been done and the finish is absolutely perfect. There is only one place I will take it in future for welding work as I'm sure it will need some as it's an old VW!

Friendly, professional staff and have never let me down. Even offered to collect my car for me so I didn't have to miss work and dropped it off fixed same day. Good communication to let me know what's happening. Highly recommend!
