Young lad who greeted me in the morning was very helpful as well.
Will be bringing other car back for its service next January
He eventually checked and he was wrong, there was a booking and they did have my tyre. No apology. He then left me standing there and didn’t even acknowledge me. He changed my tyre, threw me the keys and paperwork and that was the end of the experience.
This year checked before by calling up and they said was fine and so booked and went but this time was told the ramp wasn't actually big enough.
Also only do front wheels not back.
Not sure why I wasn't told before as you have to put the reg in to book and it knows wjat the car is.
I once had an MOT done here too and you're made to pay extra if it doesn't go through and you return.
Over all it's a place geared towards the company or manager doing as it pleases and not the customers time or satisfaction.
Shame because the staff are ok.
Proper garages are better all round.
full service + MOT, arrived on time to be
told that they had no evidence of my
booking. They proceeded to make rude, patronising remarks to me
about the situation even though it was
an error on their part. They then made it
seem as though they were doing me a
favour by squeezing me in at the end of
the day despite having booked for 0830
in the morning.. My partner has since
booked a service for his car and was
also told by the same male that they had no booking before they later located the booking and again advised he'd try to squeeze him in!? Thought my experience may have been a one off - clearly it is
not. Go elsewhere!
This Halfords Centre also broke the locking wheel nut attachment for the wheels as they used the gun not hand wrench, we now are left with no way of getting the rest of the locking wheel nuts off.
We was also told the battery failed a drop of test and a new battery was needed at a cost of £146 - There is not a problem with the battery at all. I have been told this is a tactic to sell you a new battery when it is not necessarily required.
Would not recommend at all do your re search lots of good places in local area
