Lakeside Garage

Has to replace my starter motor; got recovered here. Brought a starter motor for my car to the garage and asked them to fit it. They weren’t happy at all, made it difficult to ask them to use my starter motor. Whatever...
But, to be childish and turn off my traction control, reset my mileage and change the time? I think I’ll skip this garage and would recommend anyone else do the same.

Had a fuel leak as we set off on hols in van. Tried Lakeside Garage as we were passing and Peter agreed to look at it straight away, then said they could squeeze us in to sort the job that afternoon. Quite rare to get that sort of service, and it meant we didn't lose our Summer hol too.

My air conditioning was faulty, pulled in to see if anyone was available to have a look at it and was greeted by some miserable guy who didn’t even want to speak. Went in to reception and the man in there clearly wasn’t interested and didn’t want to work. In the end I just left and went to a nearby garage where they were more than happy to help and got my a/c working again.

The entire place was a mess. If you don’t want to work just shut the place down.

Brilliant garage. Helpful, efficient and honest. I wouldn't take my car anywherelse.
