Customer service was great help and so understandable but as for.the van I hired today it was terrible rubbish left every where in front seat and left with no fuel I had to drive to a petrol station on fumes I was lucky to made it to shell but then the fuel card kept saying declined so had to pay with my own card to pay for fuel it was handy having a big van but not worth the condition it was in or how it was kept

This is a generic hertz review.
Please please please don't book a van with Hertz. We rented one twice. First time, no issues. Second time they slapped us with a £90 cleaning fee. We left the van as we found it but this wasn't good enough. Total and utter lies by these people. They don't inspect vans between each use so have no way to prove who is at fault. Please avoid this problem and book with another more reputable organisation. I've never had this happen and I've rented vehicles all over the world.
Save yourself the headache and dont bother.
