The staff who helped me, particularly Amy & Jack, were very friendly with good customer service skills. I was also pleased with the car which was given a thorough check over and clean before it was handed over to me. I would definitely recommend this company without hesitation.
Would use again
I was given a courtesy car from enterprise whilst my car was in for repair
I was given an S class with brake issues as my first car, on returning the car with the issues with a quarter of a tank of fuel after taking it on reserve fuel, was given a temporary replacement of a manual fiesta when specifically asked for an automatic.
I was then told the replacement for the S class would be another S class. Upon arriving at enterprise I was given a C class estate with a huge crack across the windshield (not road legal).
I had the C class for about 4 days when they rung me and asked me if it could be brought back on Monday morning so the windscreen could be replaced. I arranged for the car to be picked up between 10 and 12 on the Monday. I had a phone call from them at 12 saying they would be bringing the car at 15:00. At 15:05 had a phone call saying they would have a driver within 5 minutes at 16:00 I got a call from the driver asking to confirm the address and said he would be bringing another S class. The driver arrived with the car on reserve fuel and the car had a very strong smell of marijuana in it, made more apparent the next day once the cleaning chemical smell had worn off. Wasting a whole day waiting for enterprise to drop off a car. This S class also had issues with the windscreen washers resulting in the car needing to be fixed. The car was handed back with 90% fuel in it. I was given a petrol C class as a replacement which didn't fit my requirements at all.
I contacted Kendal enterprise who managed to source me a 5 series diesel, pretty much an identical car to the one I had in for repair. Upon my car being repaired and handing the car back they tried to play it down as though I'd had little problems and that the service had been good. I was offered 10% off my next rental which is not adequate especially as I can't rent a car from enterprise as I'm not 25.
I would avoid the Blackpool branch in particular as they consistently lie about times and availability of cars. They also said they would be in contact to see if they can make it up to me, a week later and I've heard nothing from them.
I would avoid enterprise as a whole as they don't seem to care about customer satisfaction at all and my experience of having 6 different cars in the three weeks I had a courtesy car proves this. They were apologetic about it but they didn't do a lot to make it up to me. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone else and would urge people to go elsewhere for a rental or courtesy car if possible.
