Hertz - Bournemouth International Airport

Nice and helpful staff at first... I had booked a small city car and was given a people carrier instead. I have returned the vehicle in perfect conditions on a Sunday (office was closed) and found out the following day that I had been charged £ 370 for a damage that I had supposedly caused, which is untrue!!!!! I have a photo of the same damage clearly already there at the time of pick-up... absolutely appalling behaviour, but having read other comments scamming customers seems to be a common practice here.

Disgraceful company. Got an upgrade because a staff member nearly knocked my child unconscious while not looking where he was going. Returned the car in perfect condition out of hours only to get an email the next day saying there was £500 worth of damage to the paint and a wheel. Sent a few pictures of a random wheel! Could belong to any car. Absolute scam. Will never use Hertz again, disgusted with their behaviour.

I dealt with John today who was really helpful. It's so refreshing to speak with a customer service person who actually cares, and he did. He should be employee of the month for Hertz UK.

Staffs are great, but be careful when booking. They have just few cars and it's require to be there on time of the booking, otherwise you lose it.

Lovely people quick service, just a pity that they are limited on the size of the cars, we could have really done with a 7 seater or people carrier but none were available.

We have been using Hertz at Bournemouth Airport for the last 4 years for our rental car on our trips to the UK.

We find the service is always very good, the team are very friendly and welcoming.

Over the years we have rented a good variety of cars. The cars we have had are always nice and new and clean.

We also find them a good price, a quality service and a pleasure to deal with.

Disgraceful attitude and appalling behaviour of the office manager. Shouting and swearing, being intimidating and then refusing to pass on area managers details to escalate accordingly. The incident has been reported to Dorset Police as it was a scary experience leaving me very shaken. Posting this to try and get Area Manager attention
