Fantastic service from all of the Europcar staff we dealt with, all were helpful and friendly. When we picked the car up a number of options to upgrade were given to us. All conditions were fully explained to us. Yes, we did upgrade, the little extra we paid was well worth it. Well done to all staff, great service Europcar. We have used your services in the past and will definitely return.

Efficient service with a smile, no waiting, [eat your heart out Gatwick airport], the very best car that I have ever driven, including a Mercedes B class hired in May by default after my hire car had a problem.
In fact, if I could, I would buy this car, as it has a super plate which I could easily memorise -Deuteronomy Leviticus 65 Ruth Yahweh Kings.
Can you advise me how to buy it once it leaves your service?
It's a good old Vauxhall Corsa, has a wonderfully powerful acceleration at lights - I like zooming off to the consternation of those who think a silver blond sixty something is past it - and it's perfect in every way. I was astonished to discover that it's only a 1.2 engine, as to me it seemed really powerful, but that's probably because I drive a sluggish Peugeot Diesel here in France. Thank goodness I'm moving back to the UK.

Our flight was delayed by an hour so that we arrived after 4pm. As a result all the Europcar desks and cabin were closed and so we were totally abandoned and couldn’t collect our car. We’d already paid but had no choice other than to find an alternative ourselves. Went straight to another company who were not only open but also really helpful. Would definitely recommend Enterprise instead! Will never book Europcar again.

Paid in advance. Flight was delayed by 1 hour 20 mins. We landed at a perfectly reasonable time (4pm), but everyone from Europcar had gone home. No note, no keys, just a voicemail saying I’d need to get a car from someone else. Apparently they don’t work weekends either. Enterprise we’re much more helpful.

I thought Europcar was one of the big (and therefore reliable) names along with Hertz and Avis but oh no! They didn't seem to care about service at all. Our plane was late (easy for them to see) but they didn't wait for us they just closed and went home. The guy at the Avis desk was still there at 4.45 but he told us that the Europcar people always go at 4pm. Europcar even tried to blame US for a "no show" when it was THEM who weren't there for us. So we were left at the airport with no car. Great!

It's a rip off having to pay to go into the airport to collect a rental car.

Great experience from start to finish and the man at the front desk was super friendly and helpful!
The only thing that tainted our experience was the fine my friend received from the airport itself for dropping me off outside but this was not a reflection on Europcar on their services.
