Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Durham

Excellent customer service. The girls could not have been more helpful. The van was clean and ready on time for collection. I will certainly be using Enterprise Durham for my future car/van hire needs.

My recent experience using Enterprise I hired a car from Edinburgh Airport with one way hire to HartlepoolSaturday the 27th of August. My flight was delayed and I wasn’t going to get to Hartlepool before the office closed at 12pm so Hartlepool transferred my hire to Durham when we arrived At Durham 1pm I took the cases out of the car. I was picked up and drove home to Hartlepool as soon as I got home I realised I had left my Bose Headphones on the backseat of the Hire Car I called the office to be told the car had been cleaned and had gone out on hire and no Headphones were found the fact that Durham was not expecting my car and the fact that they were closing at 2pm I struggle to see how they didn’t find my headphones while cleaning the car and how they managed to get someone to hire it at such short notice. In my opinion my Headphones have been stolen by someone at Durham and I am reporting this to the police.

The van that I rented was very nice, no issues and was good value for money. The staff were friendly and in general helpful, however, a £200 deposit was taken when I returned the van and due to an error this was only partially returned. I am still waiting for my money back for this which was promised last week and I'm struggling to get an answer (no answer between 4pm and 4.30 on 28/9/22).

We hired a van to drive to Liverpool. They hadn’t done their due diligence and didn’t report a check-in report prior to our hire and the existing internal and external damage when my partner picked this up. Returned to Liverpool depot and because there weren’t any photos on the database system from the Durham branch we were going to get charged for it. Luckily the salesman in the Liverpool branch was understanding and I took photos of the state of the van when we opened it so the £200 deposit was refunded to us. Unnecessary stress caused whilst we were moving

I hired a car from Durham to London. Collection is Durham was easy and efficient and the staff were wonderful from first booking to driving out of the yard. Luke looked after me well. He was friendly efficient and communication was excellent. The car was absolutely lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed driving it. Returning it in London, Mamon was also great to deal with. I’ve hired from most of the major companies over the years and this was easily amongst my best experiences. I will certainly preference Enterprise again in the future. Thank you for such a great experience.

We recently rented from the nevilles Cross branch in durham, the staff, in particular luke were extremely helpful, well presented and very professional.
Near the end of the rental we had to change the drop off time due to flight changes, Lauren at the branch modified the time for us at a very reasonable cost and took only a minute to resolve our issue. Very helpful and polite
Highly recommend this company and in particular nevilles cross branch and would definitely use them again.

Excellent service, booked in within ten minutes and had a 21 plate car within one hour. Staff are extremely polite and explain the service before you drive off. I was offered additional cover in any bad situations that could occur. I would highly recommend this outlet for value and good service.
