WORST CAR RENTAL PLACE EVER!!!
Had a hire car through motability and car was delivered with 3/4 tank of fuel, delivery driver told me to hand car back with same amount as when delivered. Couple weeks later eurocar decided to steal £45 from my account for not filling car up to full when THEIR own driver told me to put the same amount as when delivered, I did exactly what I was asked to do.
Tried to reason with them by phone only to hear a load of lies and to be spoken to in a threatening manner.
Their customer service is despicable and they think themselves right to take money that was most definitely not owed from a severely disabled man.
They literally took my food money!
I hope never to use them again, they are rude, threatening, and feel it right to abuse disabled people.
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE!!! IF YOU ARE ON MOTABILITY PLEASE ASK TO USE THE RAC INSTEAD!!!!!
THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY SO PLEASE BE AWARE......

I use Europcar Gloucester frequently through work and they have some fantastic people working there. The service is always flawless. Special mention to Emma and Chantelle who go out of their way to help and always leave me laughing all the way to my destination.

Be very careful dropping off a car at this Europcar, if out of hours. They claim damage against the driver, that was not on the car at drop-off. There is no security cameras where you have to park the vehicle and leave it, or claim they don’t! I have been a Europcar customer for years, I’m a top tier Europcar loyalty member and they claim damage to a non damaged car after drop-off, because they know there is no CCTV. Biggest rip off and worst customer service ever experienced. I will never use this Europcar again and advise by way of warning that other customers do not as well, as you will find a bill, they know you can’t prove against them, but are responsible for due to paperwork signing which means you are legally responsible even though a car sits for 36hrs at their car-park with no security & then claim damage against you. Europcar then tell you to video the vehicle on drop-off, yet no such criteria is on their paperwork or website. Simple, don’t use Europcar Gloucester as they are not to be trusted, if using Europcar.

my rental was £196 in total and then they took £250 from my account as deposit, it wasn’t pending, they actually took it, then they told me it would be roughly 5 working days to get the deposit back into my account depending with my bank account, 5 working days later i called them and they said it would take 20 working days 🙄, thats just a massive inconvenience no lie and misinformation. Yes £250 is a lot of money to me and i needed that money for something else, if i had know thats how long it would take I wouldn’t have taken a rental with you 🤦🏼‍♂️,

The rental car was great, they didn’t try to knock money off me but make sure you take pictures and videos or anything wrong as well as mileage before you drive

I've left one start because the system won't let me leave none. Ordered a van 3 weeks in advance and was called less than an hour before I was due to pick it up to tell me it was returned damaged and no, they didn't have a replacement, nor could they get one for me. Fortunately I was able to arrange a substitute with another company (see my review of Practical Van Hire on here). To add insult to injury they invoiced me £102 for not showing up to collect the van they didn't have and took the money from my credit card which they took several days to return. Don't touch this company with a bargepole.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Unfortunately, I had to use Europcar Gloucester after a bin lorry hit my car, and whilst it was being repaired, their insurance organised for a hire car. The delivery of the vehicle and collection of the vehicle we are fine. The problems came a few weeks after the car has been collected from me I received an email been damage to the car, and I was going to have to pay the insurance premium 7 to repair the so-called damages. Immediately I rang the call centre and Gloucester branch explaining that there was no damages on the car whatsoever during my usage and that I was extremely upset about the situation. I cancelled my card immediately that was used to take the deposit. After reading the reviews on Google which seems to be this company does the same thing to many people. Accuses them of causing damage to the hire car that they did not! Absolutely shocking. A week later I’ve got a email back head office saying that the claim been no further action will be taken. So it seems to me that they try their luck hoping that customers won’t fight back against these false allegations of damage to vehicles. Scam artists avoid at all costs
