CC Hire Self Drive

We hired a lwb Fiat van at short notice. CC Hire responded promptly with a very competitive price and within fifteen minutes of arriving, we had completed the paperwork, a comprehensive condition check and were on our way.

Our van was clean, tidy and seemed to have been well maintained too. Overall, we were delighted with service, cost and vehicle provided. Very happy to recommend CC Hire.

This is the 3rd time i have hired a van from here, and again the whole experience has been great. In light of all the Covid issues at the moment, the collection was very simple, paid over the phone and deposit refunded back within 48 hours. Great!

Hired a SWB transit, the van was great. Booking was easy, the guy in the office was very friendly and helpful, and the price was extremely reasonable. Worked out about half the price of the local ‘Enterprise’ or ‘Robertson’

Hired a transit van at the weekend. Service was really good, helpful team in the office.

The van was in good condition, clean and drove well. I only needed it for a fairly short time and low mileage. Got a good rate and it included the first 100 miles.

I would recommend this company, I had a positive experience.

Really disappointed tbh. Used CC Hire several times now. The 7.5 ton box van wasn't the best, passenger window kept falling down (no switch), horn didn't work and few other minor bits.

Had the truck for 4 days, when returned got charged £41.04 excess mileage. Had only done approx 400 miles in 4 days so felt this was very unfair considering it wasn't excessive and have used the company several times. Also the truck wasn't up to standards.

Have used Roberstons Hire in the past who don't charge excess etc and better vehicles it turns out

Real shame because Adrian in the office is a very nice guy and I enjoy a chat with him but on principle now I Will never use CC Hire Again. The pettiness of £41.04 has cost a good regular customer.
