Awful service. Booked a van several days in advance, was called a day before to cancel, saying they have no vans at all, they can't guarantee a van at any of their other London branches, and that they frequently take bookings without knowing if they'll have enough vehicles. The poor guy calling me was pretty embarrassed. He advised me to check with their other branches, but when I pointed out they might also not have any vehicles, he had no answer. Rather than offering to help, they only offered a refund. When I asked if they would compensate me, I was told 'well we won't charge you any additional fees'(!). The basic requirement of a vehicle rental hire company is that they have the vehicle they say they will when you book. So go somewhere else.

You're a lovely team. Professional and friendly. But here's the deal. When I rent from you I get an email confirmation. I don't need you to call me. The email said it all. Don't waste my time calling me to tell me what your email has already told me. When I arrive your terms and conditions have been included in the email, you don't need to explain everything to me.

Our booking was followed up by Dio by phone, he professionally explained and sorted out an issue in a lovely manner. We picked up the car and Harry was equally polite and professional, . A great all round experience.

Great customer service from Abiodun when renting a van yesterday - I find you get pretty moody service from other car rental places, but never usually from Enterprise. Would highly recommend this Peckham branch - thanks Abiodun

Computer says no; Enterprise couldn't find my address on their system, physical proof of address wasn't enough so they shrugged it off and said there was nothing they could do and sent me packing. Oh well don't take my money then lads, no troubles. Pace van hire just down the road were much easier to deal with and I would definitely recommend them over enterprise.

Great service on pick up day. Jannike was very helpful and patient going through the formalities, but also showing me round the vehicle. That kindness was appreciated as was driving in France for the first time for a long while. Thank you.

Booked a van yesterday to collect today, and I received a call from Jannike to say that they don't have any vans available. I asked him if there was no vans available why was I able to book it. He then went on to say that usually after any booking is made, the branch will call the customer and tell them what they have available and when they can get the customer going. I have rented vans from Enterprise before and this is never the case, you make a booking and you go in to collect. No one has called me to tell me if they are able to provide a vehicle or not before. When I pointed this out to Jannike he had nothing to say, and instead offered me a standard car.
Overall, awful service! How can you call 20 mins before the booking time to inform customers that there is no vehicle!

Terrible - my experience pretty much exactly follows Seb's review.

I booked a van in good time, only to have the branch call me (after their office had closed, meaning I couldn't call back just 5 minutes later) less than 24 hours before I was supposed to collect it, saying they had no availability of the van I pre-paid for, no other size vans, and there was apparently no availability at any other branches.

The only solution offered was a refund - no further assistance. Not much use less than 24 hours before you need to move house.

Their website also said that they did have availability at other branches, but when I queried this over email the person who cancelled my booking simply said 'even though you can book online, the branches may not have availability' - given he previously told me 'there was no availability at any other branches'. I would have thought he would know if this was the case, and it also makes me question why there is a 'Locations with availability' checkbox when booking, if it doesn't actually reflect if there is availability....

Do yourself a favour, book elsewhere.
