Very good value car rental (around £300 stg for a medium size car for 7 days) from Bordeaux. Allow time as this business is a 10 minute journey from Bordeaux airport (for which a taxi charged us €25 though his meter said less?).

At the end of the rental period Rent-a-Car gave us a lift back to the terminal and I’d suggest arranging a pick up too but the phone number I obtained from Google wasn’t being answered. My experience would have been quicker and smoother if I’d known this in advance. Staff were very pleasant.

We had to wait 30 minutes while staff dealt with another customer but their pricing was so good I really didn’t mind. Check opening times and plan pick-up and drop-off accordingly.

Very happy with the service I received at the counter. The gentleman who served me pointed out which fuel I needed to put in the car, which lights were best to leave on during daylight driving, where the button was and was in general super helpful. I didn't get this kind of help the second time I hired a car from a competitor, disappointingly.

Friendly and easy, very courteous.
A couple of issues.
We was told it was a new cat and that there were no marks etc. checked it over in bright sunshine and seemed fine. After a few days we noticed a slight dent in the back. Luckily Hertz were kind enough to supply a text with photos that showed it, all was good but it was a worry.
Also I thought it was expensive, but I guess that’s the same all over

Be careful when using them. Their phone number wouldn't work for the first day. When I got to the pick-up point, there was no car rental place there and apparently never was; care rental place kept telling them to change the address, but they never did. Had to Uber 3 miles to the actual correct address. Reserved 2 booster seats for my kids; got to the car rental place and they had not been informed of this and had no seats available. Will NOT be using them again.

AVOID at all costs. Absolutely criminal outfit. We booked a hire car in June which we had to cancel and we are still waiting for a refund (late September) of £931. Despite best efforts and calling and e-mailing Got Rental Cars they have done there absolute best to avoid paying this money back. The advice and guidance they have provided over the phone is nonsense, the people on the end of the phone can't or won't do anything to help. Absolutely awful. So I'm having to resort to my credit card provider to reclaim the money through them.

Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we arrived close to midnight but the girl was kind enough to wait for us which we really appreciate. The Fiat Panda we rented was amazing. Beautiful to drive and perfectly suitably for the tiny Italian roads we visited. I would definitely recommend Sicily by Car for car rentals.

Car rental companies and anything associating them often get a bad press, often justifiably. In this, my first time using this company ( I left my normal Auto Europe option as their prices have become ridiculous), I have nothing but praise. I changed a booking simply and swiftly. No problem with the phone lines, the refund and subsequent rebooking. I’m travelling again in Feb and will need a car for 6 weeks in California....they’ll be the first place I check

AVOID AND BEWARE - I have been fraudulently mislead by this hire company. When I arranged car hire through Kayak I entered pick up location to be the town centre. After booking it was revealed pick up in fact from the airport. When I tried to rectify this calling them they told me there was no office in the town so this couldn't be arranged. I asked to cancel the hire, and also asked if ALL the money would be returned to my account which they replied yes. This was not the case. A late cancelation fee was applied even though the cancellation was made no less than a minuite after booking. This is a disgraceful way to treat a customer who was mislead by their own system. When trying to call after this was revealed to me my call would not be picked up or returned. My number most likely blacklisted after they'd made the money off me. I would under no circumstance recommended you use this company. If this is rectified this review will be removed or updated.
