WORST! WORST! WORST!
You know when you get a scam-call from someone in India saying they need your information to help you with your computer that has been hacked? This car rental company is the equivalent.

- No shuttle to or from the airport
- Understaffed
- High-pressure upsale
- Dishonest
- Rude
- End up spending just as much as a reputable company but with a lot of hassle and stress.

Pickup:
No shuttle from the airport so be ready to taxi or Uber. When we picked up our car, we waited over an hour to get through the line. Employee we felt with was extremely high pressure to upsale. I was so tired from being on a plane for 9 hours that I just didn’t want to argue anymore and caved in.

Return:
When we returned our car, the employee immediately, within seconds, (almost as if he knew it was there before) pointed out a tiny scratch that was on the rim of the car. Said that we would have to pay $160 out of pocket unless I could provide a photo of the scratch before we left with the car. I took both video and photos of the car before we left but did not get the tiny scratch when videoing. They threatened to withhold our $1500 deposit unless I paid the $160. They did the same thing to the woman behind us who was returning her car at the same time. SCAM!!! DO NOT USE!

No shuttle to the airport so had to Uber back.

After reading poor reviews, I was worried. However, my experience was overall excellent. Staff were efficient and very friendly at pickup, wait time not unreasonable. Return was v quick.
It'd be nice if they brought the car to you rather than having to go behind the hotel to collect. Would also be nice if they had staff to drop you off at the terminal in your hired car so as to avoid fuss with baggage. And that shuttle is absolutely a PIA. Get a taxi or Uber.
Would recommend and consider using again.

I recently rented an electric car (because it was an automatic not because it was electric) that was only charged to 25% when I picked it up. I was told that it "should" get me to my destination approximately 90 mi away and that I could download an app that would let me see where all the charging ports were located.

Issue 1: I don't know about you, but every time I have rented a car it was always fully fueled when I got it. That shouldn't be any different with an electric vehicle. Issue 2: The first three charging stations I went to had issues charging. Issue 3: There also seemed to be issues with the car's charging system as it would indicate it was charging, then turn off, then say it was fully charged with a 6% battery.

Terrified of being stranded alone in the middle of a foreign country at night, I arrived at my destination with a nearly depleted battery. The next day I had to pay £200 for an emergency roadside charging service, but even the guy with the charging service had difficulty getting the car charged! He said he had never seen that before and thought there may have been something wrong with the car's charging system.

When I asked for a refund of this charge I was told it was my responsibility to do "research" on England's charging infrastructure in advance and only gave me £25 after I persisted....seriously? How in the hell am I supposed to research that the Mer charger in Swindon wasn't functioning correctly or that the stupid app that you had to use for payment was glitching horribly? Or that the charger at another gas station only accepted contactless payment but didn't recognize my card that had worked fine in London? Maybe I just had really bad luck, but this was hands down the most expensive and awful car rental experience I've ever had. I lost a whole day of my vacation trying to figure it out!

When I reached out it took them several weeks to get back. Now they are just ignoring me. I try to be as civil as I can because you get more flies with honey, but I do hope that this one bad review will at least lose them the equivalent cost in future rentals. So they may want to do some research into what customer service actually entails.

Superb experience! It was very easy to pick up the car. When picking up the car it was rather busy, but the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
Returning the car again was easy and the staff very helpful and friendly.
We asked them to call us a taxi taking us to Heathrow airport which again they did splendidly.
And when we arrived at the airport we realized that our daughter had lost her phone in the taxi. I wrote them an email to which they immediately replied. They even called the taxi driver and asked him to look for the phone.
Green Motion Car Rental London Heathrow Airport even organized that the taxi driver returned the phone to their office. They kept it for us and so we could organize a courier service to pick it up.
Again the staff there were extremely friendly, helpful and supported us in any way the could! :-)
The whole team at Green Motion Car Rental London Heathrow Airport is extremely customer driven and will do anything to keep/make their customers happy.
I honestly can say that their customer service is outstanding, second to none and I can only highly recommend Green Motion Car Rental London Heathrow Airport.

We went for a family trip hired a 7 seated from these guys ash and tj were excellent guys super helpful with the customer service . Very friendly staff helped with A to Z they are hidden at the back of holiday inn near the airport just go to the car park and you will find them.

This is a big shout out to my guys Muneeb and Ash for being so kind and helping us out when we arrived at the Hotel where Green Motion is based near Heathrow. Generally picking up a car can be a long process but the guys were professional, fast and super helpful and super friendly. The car we got was in great condition almost new I think and we had a good week and again super quick at drop off and we were away. I am back in a couple of months and will use them again for sure.

My overall experience with Green Motion was very good. When I returned the vehicle, Abdul, who helped me was wonderful. He was polite and efficient. It was a bit challenging to get from the car rental place back to my airport terminal. The one other thing to be aware of is that I had to put a deposit down via my credit card of £2500, which I hadn’t anticipated. Otherwise, I would happily use Green Motion again.

Having had one positive experience with Green motion I decided to ignore all the poor reviews - what a mistake. The car given to me was clearly unroadworthy and dangerous. On collecting the vehicle I noticed and informed the staff that the tyre looked flat, I then started the vehicle and a warning light immediately appeared. A Greenmotion staff member told me that this was simply a fault with the warning light! He clearly did not want to do the extra work of checking the vehicle properly. Only when I insisted was an air pump brought which the staff member did not seem to know how to use. Some air was eventually added to the tyre and I again asked whether the staff member could assure me that there was no puncture as I would be driving to Birmingham with three children. I was told there was definitely no puncture. By the time I reached the airport terminal to pick up the rest of my family the warning light was back on so I again topped up the air at a garage. Despite these steps, by the time I reached the West Midlands it was clear that the vehicle was not road worthy as the tyre had once again deflated. As a result I had to spend hours of my holiday looking for somewhere to repair the puncture- and I am still waiting for the promised reimbursement. I will be reporting this to trading standards because one day either a customer or other road users will be killed by this kind of dangerous underhand behaviour. The staff simply could not care less it seems.
