I had no choice but to use this company as my Insurer had a deal with them. At every opportunity they tried to get money out of me. Couldn't find a car of my price range......would I like to pay an upgrade? No Thank you - Would you like to get your insurance company to pay for an upgrade? No Thank you. On returning the vehicle there was a small scratch on the drivers door. I had been unaware of it and was very upset. The Manager said that it was "probably nothing" and we would get 'scratch guys' to look this afternoon.....I heard nothing for 6 weeks and then got slapped with a £250 bill. Nothing they could do....I had to pay up. Their Customer service is shocking and I will never use them again. Be warned.

All we could have hoped for. We named our hire car 'Ripley' from Alien because she was tough & never let us down. The staff were fantastic too

I rented a van for pickup on 14 July 2018 well in advance and contacted them a couple of times prior to the date. The staff were courteous and helpful. We were on a cruise and although they could not pick us from the Cruise terminal, they said they would reimburse the cost of a taxi, which they did. They pick up process was smooth and they were helpful when contacted after we had left their location. Likewise, the drop off was smooth without any hiccups. I must commend them for making our experience a no stress event and will strongly recommend this Company to anyone seeking to hire a car from Southampton. They were reasonably priced as well. My refund was paid promptly, thanks to Hanisha. Well done guys....keep up the good work!! And to the Upper Marsh Rd(London) as well.

Be aware ! Must be very careful with this company. At the start, despite providing all IDs, driving license, addressed etc. they still wished to call my employer to verify my identity. And it was Sunday afternoon !!!
At the return of the car they found a small scratch on front bumper, they held 1000£ deposit and promised to get back within few weeks with quotation. Despite reminders they never got back to me with quotation and kept the deposit. 6 weeks passes and I never heard from them. Total disrespect to customer.
I will never use them again.

Absolutely ridiculous. We reserved a car online and fully paid for it via their website. Then when it came to recieving the car, I was told I did not have enough credit history (as I work abroad). This check was not done online when booking and paying. There was no information regarding this in the terms or conditions. I was told I may not receive a refund, even though it is no fault of mine. If that's not theft, I don't know what is. Be careful with this company.

Hassling Customer service, car we rented was dirty and badly polished and smelt of smoke. All round a poor experience wont be going with Enterprise again with this first impression.

It was not the first time I hire a car from Enterprise and I would have given five stars for the initial booking process and the ease of collecting the rental car and also for picking me up and giving me a lift back home.  However I took three stars away for what happened when returning the car the next morning as the warning light for low tyre pressure came on and upon checking that tyre there was a nail embeded in it. I had to pay the excess despite informing them that particular tyre pressue was already low when I checked the car computr after ariving home which is less then a mile away but no warning light was on. The nail must have been there before I picked up the car which resulted in a slow loss of pressure.  They didn’t go through the computer menue with me to check everything was OK including the tyre pressure, which would have shown it was low. So it was my word against theirs and just because the car was in my possession when this happened I was to blame.  Also when I disputed everything by e mail to the department in concerns they completly and abruptly disregarded my complaints. I thing this was apauling as the car was not properly checked on handing it to the new customer, so my advise is if you ever hire a car you should check everything, even the computer menue before leaving the premises which we usually tend not to do.

Worst branch ever, they keep lying about giving me a car to rent… took me 3 days and dozen of phone calls to figure out the fact that they will not gonna rent me a car due to “availability” when in fact their manager refused to rent it to me… apparently I was rude to him because I was asking for an actually time/day when I can have a car, especially cause I need it for my job.
