Thrifty Car and Van Rental Exeter

The folks at this location were wonderful. They gave us directions, suggestions and a great car for our needs. The pickup and reservations were quick and easy, the drop off was the same and they even gave us a ride to the rail station on our way out of town. Wonderful team.

About 7.5 miles and £20 by taxi from Exeter Airport, less from rail station.

Used over 7+ times and on every occasion cars are immaculate and the service standard from the whole team has been excellent. Excellent staff throughout. Recent changes to upgrade into a BMW for a small extra fee. Highly recommended.

Good service, collecting us from and returning to St David's station before and after the rental. Gave the car a quick extra clean before I drove it away (bird poo) and thorough pre-hire checkover. Reasonable prices.

Do not hire from this company, if you do make sure you spend a good few hours at the check out stage inspecting the vehicle, preferably with an automotive professional. No check out/ in procedure followed but they are keen to follow due process when presenting you with a claim for damages which were already present on the vehicle. When will Google reviews allow you to give negative stars.

I was initially disappointed in my alloted car, having booked a BMW 320 Sports, but they worked away and supplied a 5 series which made my 11 day hire special. Staff friendly and knowledgeable as always. I never go anywhere else for my car hires
