County Car and Van Rental

Booked a van, ford van wasn't available so I was offered a nicer Mercedes van for same price.
Staff were all helpful and polite and offered good advice.
Brother had issues with a hire company saying he did damage he didn't do and had issues I was worried this may happen to me.
No problems at all and would use again.

Used the Chester office to hire a van last week and just returned it this morning.
Exceptional service from Cameron from start to finish.
Will never use anyone else.

I had booked online a Citroen C3 but they didn’t have any available on the day, so they just upgraded me to a Peugeot 2008 at no extra cost.
Friendly staff and excellent service.
Would definitely recommend.

Arranged van for 9am, was told to come for 09:30. Arrived 09:30, was 45 minutes waiting to collect because County had no one trained to hand over the particular model of van to the guy in front of me (it was looking like he wasn't going to be able to get his by the time I left and he was FUMING, after booking it months in advance). Was finally on my way around 10:20. Returned the van, was told I had damaged the rear parking sensor and was shown the damage. I informed them they hadn't worked all day and I hadn't hit anything. I received a shrug and would have to pay. At that point I pulled out my phone and showed the video I took all around the van before I got in it; which showed the damage was pre-existing. Whilst checking the van back in, a family was waiting to collect theirs; they had been told that it wasn't available, much to their horror. As they were moving that weekend they turned up anyway, so they waited round hoping someone would return one (I felt sorry for them too). It is 7 days later and I am still waiting for my £250 deposit to be refunded, which I was told would be a few business days. I've called up twice chasing this and await a call back.

This is the worst business, they said they don't have any vans after we booked and paid almost 3 weeks in advance.

Do not do any business with them ! Absolute scammers, wasted taxi money getting to the place for them to tell me, no advance notification phone calls or anything. Avoid at all costs.

The worst!!! We booked an automatic van and when we went to pick it up they said they don’t have it and the guy who was supposed to sort it out didn’t do it. Why couldn’t they inform us beforehand. The worst service ever

After being let down twice by another van rental company. This was the last company we tried, with it being on the run up to Christmas. Saved the day after clutch went on our van. Used twice now. Friendly, reliable, professional service, will definitely use again and recommend

Extremely good service and competitive price. I recommend you go here and not to one of the other rental places I went to across the road. Not a good service there..
