Imperial Vehicle Hire

Be careful this company drops off keys with out signing the paper work and then charges you for discrepancies in fuel. When challenged to provide proof they ignore your requests. 2 months now since the false charge and still no proof still no money returned. You have been warned!

Cheapest in the area for van hire, didn't charge me extra for being under 25 (unlike most), and no hidden costs. Van was a shiny new Transit with 500 miles on the clock, and collection/return was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

W A R N I N G - Dodgy Activity from Staff

In short, a member of staff broke the wing mirror of a van I rented and claimed I did it without proof. this company then took money out of my account without consent, and left me with over £600 missing. All because they claimed I broke a wing mirror, which was actually caused by the member of staff that collected the van; the collector also didn't inspect the vehicle, meaning he didn't have my signature. I got my money back after emailing the company about 50x as they were ignoring me for the first week or 2, so the communication skills were poor until I spoke to the director.

They either has poor organisation and/or staff that will try rip you off, from my experience atleast with the St Albans & Berkhampsted Branch.

I believe they tried to take advantage of me because I'm a student in their 20s. Therefore, I would highly not recommend this company.

I have used this company a few times now and have always had great service, great vehicles at great prices. Highly recommend, 5 stars all the way.

I called them at short notice as I was let down by a friend at short notice. The team were very helpful and supplied me with what I needed there and then. The van was very clean and smart and would not hesitate to use them again. Very pleased with the full service from start to finish.
