Hertz

Great service , lovely bunch of helpful & courteous staff. Always had a delightful experience in the past.

Went to Hertz to collect a van to move house this morning. Arrived when they open at 08:00 and they were open slightly early.
They are situated inside the terminal on the right as you go in, so Google maps doesn't quite get you there.
Very friendly lady at the desk who got me quickly sorted out and didn't try for a hard upsell.
I still recieved the would you like this package to reduce excess etc... But it didn't feel like a hard sell I've had in other hire place.
The van was clean and the pre-existing damage report accurate.
They also emailed me the report with pictures of the damage.
I recieved a warning about bringing it back with fuel and the need to keep a fuel receipt to show I had done so. The reason for this, is it's almost £4 a litre of you don't bring it back with a full tank.
This makes sense though if you factor labour time and the inconvenience it would cause the next person to not have a full tank.

Returning the Van later. Will update the review when I do.

Best rental experience we've had in the Norfolk area. Very flexible and understanding when things don't always go to plan.

Great customer service, really quick and easy to deal with.

A tidy scam. 200 dollars added to bill for 1. scratches which were already there (photographed with time stamp - ignored) and 2. minuscule scratches not visible to the naked eye on pickup. I guess it's all an intentional part of the business plan.
