A mixed review here. The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, I really can't fault any of them. Unfortunately the van wasn't so great. The person before us had smashed the wing mirror. It was late on Saturday and the Afford staff couldn't get anyone out to replace it. Not their fault at all, and they were very apologetic. We were offered a sprinter in its place, but we needed a tail lift. We also found that the rail on the one side, inside the van, where you would attach straps etc, had been ripped off. In addition, there were no straps/ropes...not that we could have attached them to anything anyway. Despite this, we did get the job done. I guess all of the issues came from other people hiring not taking sufficient care.

I rented a car in January after arriving in the UK and by my own mistake stayed 20 mins too long in a car park. A fine was issued to Afford who transferred liability to myself with out telling me. 5 months later a debt collection agency finds me and gives me a £170 bill. A simple phone call from Afford informing me that a fine was on the car would have saved me this gross bill. Apparently it's not in Affords procedures to consider their customers best interests. I would not rent from Afford again as I can't trust that they consider their customers first.

Excellent service always. Prices are very reasonable and cars are always new models, clean and in good order.

MUCH better than the other alternative in Stafford who decided to up the cost by 100 a week because their cars are in demand. Recommended
