DO NOT USE COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!
Arrived at reception to an unbelievably rude woman called Susan! The type of woman who believes the world owes her a big favour!

We took photos of the car plus a couple of minor scratches along the side of the car before we started our journey!

The very next day we get an email stating we would not be getting our deposit back and we owed 300 pounds due to damages!

This is not the first case I have heard about Hertz and unfortunately I should have listened to the people before me!

Stay well away from Susan and Hertz, never again!

I was able to book online and pick up. Key drop on a Sunday so no problems there

So different from a busy airport location! An easy drive from our Holyhead hotel, park 200 feet from the ferry terminal where the Hertz agent's desk is just inside the door. Quick, easy, friendly service, no queues.

We had a great experience dropping off our car at Hertz Holyhead. The service agent was efficient and friendly. Would not hesitate to use again

I rented a car from the Hertz Holyhead branch for 24 hours. Several days later I received an invoice incorrectly stating that there were missing accessories from the vehicle and overcharging me by £50. The invoice did not state what the missing item was or why I was charged, and no one from Hertz flagged their mistake. After I rang both Hertz central customer service and the local branch location, I was informed that "I had been overcharged by mistake because someone in the office pressed the wrong button" and that I would receive a refund promptly. Several days have passed and I still have not been refunded, nor have I received any sort of formal apology for what appears to be a subtle but obvious attempt to blatantly overcharge unsuspecting customers. All in all, this was a terrible rental experience and I have been thoroughly unimpressed by the customer support I have received.

I would like to say that the standard of care that the young lady should me was out standing. I'm sure her name was Sue yes I'd like to give her the full 5 stars

The drop off parking bays were difficult to find and having found them there were no directions to locate the key return box in the terminal building. A simple sign explaining where to find this key return box would be very helpful particularly for those who are late for their ferries!
