Hertz - Cardiff - Bessemer Road

The staff here were super friendly and helpful. Coming from the states, we were a bit nervous about driving in the UK. The staff reassured us by giving tips and that made our whole experience stress-free. The car we got was beautiful, new, and extremely fuel efficient—perfect for trekking the back roads of Wales. Booking was super quick and efficient and we were on the road in no time!

Have hired a car from here 3 times now when visiting the UK as it's close to where we stay. Great service and competitive prices. They've never tried to push me to take out additional cover or claim damages on the car that weren't there. Will continue to hire from here on our next visit

Pleasant surprised by just how nice and helpful the members of staff I dealt with while renting a van. Good price too and sensible level of checking on their part when examining a brand new rental vehicle for damage.

Really friendly staff with a relaxed ease when renting. Don't feel like they're over your shoulder when picking up and dropping off the vehicle. Would definitely recommend!

The vehicle was good, clean, The front office service was good, I even received a free upgrade, as branch did not have a right category vehicle, however, when I returned the vehicle I found out their damage report was not updated, which is not good! Not professional, If I did not took photo of the vehicle before picked up, I would have a problem,

I would recommend everyone to take some photos of the vehicle before drive away. this would save some unnecessary arguments,

Worst ever car rental service I had in UK,
unprofessional staffs, no transparency in payments and invoice.
refund takes ages and cancellation is a big headache.
Dirty car given and a sanitised sticker was given to me rather than pasting it on door by company and I was told car was cleaned and sanitised but it wasnt.
this is totally rubbish.Wouldnt recommend Hertz to anyone, Avis does a cheaper and a better service in Cardiff.
