Thrifty Car and Van Rental Cardiff

Thrifty are awesome I use them regularly, business and leisure, and always get exceptional service. Polite, professional staff and excellent rates. Vehicles are always clean. Service is second to none compared to many other rental companies in the city and over the years I have used them all.

Thrifty is my number one choice every time

Great service and vehicle was perfect. Better than I expected to be honest. Also they were a lot cheaper than all other providers in the area for the same vehicle. Would recommend and happily return in the future. Only downside is not much parking out the front and made it a bit difficult to return the car. Bit not a major issue.

Best cars and great service... But be sure of getting all the possible documents there...

Having had previous stresses with a different Thrifty branch I was a little hesitant & wary.
There was no need. I called earlier in the day to extend my van hire a few hours earlier - absolutely no issue for them. The pre-rental vehicle checks were really thorough & gave me the confidence that I wouldn’t get stung for any damage.
Van itself was great, easy to drive & well maintained.
Had to return it an hour late - again I called & staff were nothing but helpful & accommodating.
Returning the van was simple.
Definitely recommend this branch & the staff were lovely.
Only downside is no on-site parking & I didn't love having to leave my car round the corner on the industrial estate.

Excellent customer service, any questions answered promptly and professionally. Drivers arrive on time and also great at answering questions about the cars.

Great customer service had a hire care through insurance . The girls were very helpful kept me informed all along the process and the guy dropping the car off was very cheerful and polite would highly recommend this branch of Thriffty

Absolutely terrible service. Took my details wrong, never changed them even though they were informed on 4 occasions the name they had was not my name. Was given a car that smelled like cigarettes. Spoken to disgustingly by the receptionist. She even put the phone down on me after a dispute. Told me they were taking money from my account but took more money than they stated. Would avoid using this company.

First of all, the customer service is not only poor but its vile and its clear the employees here just don't care. The service was terrible, overly priced for basic cars. I recommend eurocars over this place any day
