Budget Car Hire - Cardiff

I've a booking starting today. I arrived precisely at 6.00pm. The staff members were in theirs cars but had not left the car park right in front of the entrance door. They saw us arriving. While my friend was driving, I called the agency and was on hold with a message saying "you're the next call to be answered" from 5.30pm and waited for my call to be answered to no avail. It does not start well. Let see how it goes... will be posting another review.

On the 15th of December I went to pick up a vehicle that I had booked a week in advance. I clearly explained to the booking agent the information about my licence and was advised to walk with certain relevant documents. I arrived to Budget where the staff looked a bit stress about a matter so I sat and waited patiently a few minutes for them to sort the matter out. The initial representative realised an error in information was made and he went to clarify with his supervisor if I could rent a car. This lady with no decorum sat and started to aggressively converse with me saying I could not get the car. I explained the inconvenience this error has made and try to see if I could rent the car on another licence. Again with no compassion and not even one apology she continued to be difficult and obstructive. This was done quite loudly infront of other customers and employees. I decided to tell her I was relatively calm even though I am in a predicament but did not appreciate that there was no apology and she spoke to me quite rude. I wished her a good day and left. I spent over 10 minutes trying to file a complaint and was treated like I was a nuisance. I get mistakes happen but as a well established company just simply apologise. I hope that the manager meets her match or one say find herself unemployed because of her stink and distasteful attitude.
