Don't understand the bad reviews as I had exceptional service at this branch. I hired a car for about 5 days which I just returned yesterday. The lady at the counter was extra nice (she was also the first Welsh person I spoke to in my trip, which made me realise how Welsh people are SO SO SO SO NICE). Thank you for all your support and I'm sure I'll be back again!

Not the best experience, couldn't complete booking on line, at the office I was told they didn't hold the car I wanted so had to pay more money for a different model but no bigger than originally wanted . On pick up was charged another £100 for damage waiver. They take it immediately then hold it for a week before repayment . Car was wet but not cleaned, hiding scratches, I pointed many out for the company to log. When dropped off at different office scratches were commented on and it was stated the first office had not logged them .
The car drove fine no problems there.

The staff at Europcar Swansea were friendly, courteous and professional. The car I requested was in immaculate condition. We did not have spend more than a few minutes for pick-up and drop-off.

Great car rental. Friendly staff and good choice of cars. Only issue is the wait for the car to be ready. Other than that great place.

I got given immaculate brand new Polo which was a plus.

However I had to wait nearly an hour past the pre booked collection time for the car to be cleaned which was quite annoying as it was freezing cold in the office.

Annoying that you have to re supply all the information you entered online at the desk, extends the process for no reason.

Tried to extend for a further two weeks but got told I could only do it for 4 days. Therefore I booked a second rental online and had the money removed from my account. This was quickly followed by a phone call stating they had no vehicles available. Shouldn't be allowed to book vehicles online that are not there.

Fortunately I was now able to extend the vehicle for the two weeks that originally asked for.

Luckily I had rented before and knew about the £250 deposit so I had it ready. However some people may be caught out!

They gave me a much bigger van than ordered which had a few dents in it already. Not a big deal as only moving furniture. Europcar did not try to accuse me of damaging the van, they have a good itinerary of damages on the vehicle before you rent it. The woman in their Swansea office made it sound like they were doing me a favour by giving me a bigger van as an upgrade for free but it wasn't an upgrade as I needed a smaller van to go to the local tip. They will not accept a 3.5 tonne lwb in the tip. So that was a big inconvenience as I couldn't do a tip run at the end of the day. Their website should not have let me order a van they did not have available on the day to suit my needs.

Pre booked a car for a business trip. A very long wait. When delivered to the destination, there was nobody there. Another wait. Otherwise, car had 4wheels and got us to our destination.
