Quicklane Tyre and Autocentre Colchester

Took my car on Wednesday 9th February for a simple clutch change. Was told I’d get it back Thursday. No issues there. Was contacted so they could ask for a further 24 hours to do some TLC and make sure it was all okay for me, I said yeah that’s fine.. got my car back on Friday lunch time to which I was happy with everything 2 hours later, the gears stopped locking into place and kept jumping around the gears to which it was undriveable.. took back to garage Saturday 8am to get it looked at, was told I would have to wait till Monday because it’s weekend and they didn’t have the part, i reluctantly had to agree because it needed doing but I was without a car for work. Therefor, loss of earnings for the entire weekend. Monday came, garage rung me to say the part they was delivered was the wrong part and that I would have wait till Tuesday now. The guys were very apologetic I understand things can go wrong but I just took the car for a simple clutch change to which I’ve now lost 5 days of work because I’m a community carer and I need my vehicle to get access around my patients. Obviously not very happy with the outcome of how long this has been off the road. Each minute it’s still on garage I’m loosing money… was offered a free service though but overall the entire experience wasn’t very good for me. I hate to use this card but being autistic, I get stressed and anxious about situations and this didn’t help my autism one bit. The guys in the garage were lovely though.

Excellent service, incredibly nice staff super efficient. I showed up they got my car on the ramp straight away, I waited in the in the nice clean waiting area for 25 minutes and I was away. Great experience.

Highly recommend went in for a tyre repair one Saturday morning they were very busy but was advised if I came back later they would fit me in. Kept to there word very helpful, professional done the job and was even cheaper than Halfords charges for a tyre repair. Highly recommend them and would use them again. Thank you team.

This is my go-to garage for all things motor vehicle, they are courteous, proffesional and competitive, I have broken down twice within a week, both times they took my van with no notice and had it fully repaired within two days, while also saving me money in the process, doesn't get much better then that! Thank you to Brad and his team!

Never been to quick lane before but will go back again, staff were very friendly and helpful. They managed to book my car in for a puncture, I left my car with them and it was fixed earlier than expected which was well appreciated. I will be booking my car and my wife's for a service and mot when needed, keep up the great work and see you soon.

I have been using Quicklane for some time now and have brought many cars here from when I had my business. Bradley especially has always been extremely helpful and gets things done as soon as possible, I even sometimes show up without an appointment and he slots me in if it’s something small. Really appreciate all the help you guys do, never any problems in almost two years. Many thanks :-)
