Terrible customer service…..Called up to get availability of when they could look at my vehicle for a issue.

I rang back again to confirm they was happy with the dates - afterwards had the manager or a technician come on phone and told me to stop haggling and window shopping for cheaper prices and to go pay else where as I was being cheap apparently…..

I thought being in the area and seeing reviews this garage looked good and trustworthy but clearly they don’t want there community helping out by giving them work so definitely won’t be calling again for help

I struggled to find a mechanic who was able to plug in a reader to my Volvo S40. Came here and they booked an appointment for me to bring my car in. They were able to plug it in and find the faults. After having them phone me with an estimate for the work and a time scale, I agreed to the works. I had my DPF changed, wheels aligned, tracking complete, two new tyres, new sensors for my DPF, new liquids for my fuel additive and new housing units and all fault codes cleared and reset. These are all jobs that I knew needed doing, so the price was not a surprise.

The results speak for themselves. My car is much more responsive, I am saving Diesel when driving more than I used to, my engine sounds and feels healthier.

Very happy with the work completed. Would recommend. Will be returning for future works if needed.

So first of all, they do a good job. I've not had any issues on that front. However, the poor rating is down to their customer service - that's another issue.

I am always polite and courteous - not a difficult customer by any means. I took my car for an MoT. The car failed the MoT and required a part for the windscreen washer. I was told the work couldn't be done for 2 weeks.
As the car's tax happened to run out in a few days, it meant I couldn't drive the car until the work was done. The owner lectured me on why I had left it so late to get the MoT. I explained I had been dealing with a death in the family and in fact had been speaking to the coroner while walking to the garage. I asked if there was any chance the work could be done sooner. The owner continued to angrily lecture and condescend to me about how there are 100 customers in front of me etc etc. I reminded him again that I was dealing with a family tragedy. He stormed off in a huff and repeated it would be weeks before he could look at it. I accept having to wait. I don't accept being spoken to in the way I was when I was polite and courteous throughout. I got the car repaired and MOT'd again from scratch at another garage and needless to say I won't be coming back to this garage.

Avoid! Extremely rude customer service. You call for regular updates and are promised further updates to no avail. The receptionist makes you feel as though you are an annoyance but at the end of the day they overpromise and underdeliver. They also carried out work on my car without seeking my approval first and made me pay for it. Would not recommend. They have replied to my review saying I should be ashamed of myself for lying. I believe they have the wrong customer as their comments do not apply to me. My review is an honest reflection of the service I received and the experience I had, which appears to be the case with many others. It is clear from the nature of the business owners responses on here how unprofessional and argumentative they are. Please avoid this garage at all costs - an extremely unpleasant experience!

I had a flat battery after work. Never got around to swapping my breakdown cover from my old car. Miserable weather & walked to this garage for a jump start.
Really friendly & helpful staff.
Alan was just finishing work but kindly got my car running on his way home.

Booked car in for an MOT
they were ready to accept the car at the stated time .
Called me when finished roughly an hour later .
Didn't try and add additional things that didn't need doing like wipers, tyres etc..
Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

I normally use other garage but went this time closer my home. It was easy to book and they took my car on time and it was ready within hour. I had MOT done and I was very happy with their service. Will definitely used them again thank you.
